Oh Amy, what a shame. I m really pleased that you have got somewhere to go though, I was really worried about you.

Morning all Must be the weather because I too have woken with a headache. I'm also going to be potty training t'Other over the next 4 days so apologies if I am irritable. He has been asking for pants for a couple of months but I've had too much going on to devote the time to it. We're already one pair of trousers down this morning He can do this when naked, but not when he has his trousers and pants on.

They don't do him justice - his bra flashed in concentric circles - it looked great in the dark especially around Holyrood park. He had loads of comments and cheers from spectators, was a bit unsettling having everyone staring at husbnd's chest rther than mine! Also, you can't see too clearly but his tummy looked hilarious - he had keyhole surgery to fix his hernia a couple of weeks ago and they shaved the bottom half of his tummy where the tools went in.

Missed the total eclipse yesterday due to heavy rains, bah. And it lasted exceptionally long too - the longest eclipse since the year 2000, and Sweden seems to have been a perfect location to see it from, except for the weather *sulks*

T'Boy has finally been offered a place at one of our village schools - it was the one that looked dreadful when I looked round before, but they have built the classroom and hired a teacher now so will look again. Such a HUGE relief to have options.

I have a busy morning and a busier afternoon coming up. Accounts this morning and summer reading this afternoon. I'm too old for a building full of rowdy kids. I honestly used to enjoy it, but the past few years it has been a chore.

Good news about the school, Kelli, I hope they've improved it somewhat and those pics are excellent.

Feeling a wee bit old today - my dear daughter turns 18 today and henceforth can vote, drive a car (once she's finished her lessons and passed)' make her own financial dispositons, get any number of tattoos and piercings she'd like (shudder )...

My little girl? (notwithstanding that she's around 1m80 and to boot (!) wore, I don't know, 7-8 cm heels when we went out for a local celebratory dinner tonight.

Hallo all. Sorry for the delay but my laptop has gone all funny on me and I've been doing all the diagnostic thangs -- removing all the possibly ad-oriented cookies, running chkdsk, now defragging the thing -- so that I can eliminate theories as to why its performance is so degraded and why it eventually freezes.

This is incredibly inconvenient because I have some Actual Job Training online next week, after which I might be offered An Actual (part-time) Job in telecommuting by a 501(c)3 company that specializes in brokering jobs for people on Disability. That is the moment my laptop has chosen to get the bazazzas. Well, now I'm sitting at my desktop machine which is behaving very well.

Lil, I need to remember to do that to all of my machines. It's about time for a good spring cleaning.

Ye Olde Desktoppe (well, it's over five years since we got it... so it's practically a relic!) needs a damn good cleanout. Can't remember last time I defragged it and there are so many bits and bobs all over the harddrive that could probably be got rid of.

Evening, did not see the lunar eclipse, I think we were right on the edge of it. But I have seen others. There was plenty of coverage of it on the breakfast news. But why oh why do reporters have to exagerate so much. The reporter this morning was banging on about it being a once in a lifetime experience and then telling us there will be another one in December!

Pity about the house Amy.

Road trip tomorrow. Glamis House next to Glamis Castle. Down and back in a day. Have to find somewhere that does a decent pub lunch.
