J'au, thanks for the Radiation Dose Chart. It really puts things in good perspective. I had heard about the background radiation from granite buildings but had never thought of it comparitively, and had no idea of the exposure level from a mammogram.

Dang, it's going down below freezing tonight. I have to turn the bathroom heater back on and dig out some long sleeves for the morning.

Stay warm Lil.
Good night all.

Rosemary, what Eats said.
It truly is very competitive out there; I've been through a few of these periods of work stress (early 70's, mid 80s, and a couple of them in the 90's and the Oughts) but never as bad as this time around. It will get better! If nothing else, the constant job seekers in Starbux are thinning out...I take that as a positive sign.

Keep at it, Rosemary.
First night of Into the Woods was very well received. We had a few glitches, including some moments of maypole-related chaos, but I think the audience were impressed. And I was one of the people who got some very big laughs, which is always nice.

What they all said, Rosemary - as long as you get to the interviews, it'll break at some point and give in!
David.
Anyone of our UKians watching "The Killing" on BBC4? Danish TV series - just made the news here that it's drawing rave reviews and keeping people of the streets (well, almost) over there. Certainly did when it ran here.

And I can be bribed not to reveal who the killer is ...

I've seen the Kubrick film 'The Killing' if that helps?

I'm feeding myself to make me feel better. It isn't working.

What's happening, kelli?

I had a really disconcerting error message on the way in to the salon. Something about .net and the stack. Nothing for it but to close the browser and start all over again.

Hi SV. Mentioned we were watching "The Killing" a while back. Two episodes left. Absolutely excellent drama. Nice that it is subtitled and not dubbed.
The Canadians are remaking it over there. Why, I don't know, the acting and the characters are superb as they are.
No spoilers please or you'll experience a Pictish invasion.

IIEM, a vanilla latte please!
Anyone else sometimes get a 'storkbite' (big red oblong blotch with fuzzy edges) where the third eye is supposed to be?
I saw it on myself the other day after a night of more nasty coughing than sleep due a bad cold. I wasn't even aware that it's a sign I've slept wayyyy to little until my mother once told me that that's how she's always been able to tell when I'm very tired.
Is there a nerve cord or something there, beneath the skin? And why would a lack of sleep cause a red blotch? *hoping Z might know*
