I think he thinks he has the deciding factor but the numbers do not stack up for a LibLab pact. And if the Scotch Squatter tried for a quick law to bring in PR his own MPs wouldn't support it.

It always amazes me how long it takes to get the references, the front page and the proof-reading done on an academic assignment. I thought I'd got them pretty much together, and it's still taken me 3 hours.
Still, I could print it and post it now, and can happily spend the remaining time (36 hours - eep!) improving it. It's not as good as it should be.

I've just discovered Reference Manager which automatically does your referecing for you - of course you need your own database of references, but as long as you update when you do your reading it's ok. It's great.
End note is the other form available. When I do a database search or a library search I can export the references to Ref Man, then word uses the Ref Man plug in to import references into word and create a biolography..

Today I will be mostly painting flags. Ivory Coast (my team), Mexico (K's team) and Japan (A's team) I need some recipes from these countries that are tried and tested if anyone has any ideas?
I've decided to wait until Alan Wake comes out before I hand in my resignation (well, I get staff discount and everything )
Cam scared the very life out of me yesterday. I was stood at the back door hoping to get George in and Cam slipped out. He was wandered in the garden for an age and I sat out there waiting for him to come back - he darted into the garden behind ours. 10 minutes later he came home

I have invented a new diet. The Sheltie Diet. All you have to do is live with 3 Shelties who want to eat whatever it is you have on your plate. They have to know how to look at you with big, pitiful eyes. Goddess, these dogs are spoiled.
Where exactly did spring go? Which one of you has her? Cause I want her back, please.

SC, how scary!
The audition went so-so. I lose my force in voice when I'm nervous, but since they know me, I got a little help anyway.
We also had to learn a little dance and show, which was fun but not so brilliant. Then again, no one else was very brilliant at dancing. Some wonderful singers could be heard through the cracks in the door!
I'll know for sure by June. Fortunately, I belong to the underrepresented group of middle aged women, so I believe I have a chance. Many of the tall blonde 14-20 year old girls will not make it though - there can only be so many of them in Anatevka...
Thanks for your supporting vibes!

Yes, I recognise a variation of that diet Hyp, the Springer let's see how much of Dad's lunchtime sandwich and crisps we can make big eyes at before he gives in and gives us a bit.

Another windy day.
I just gave my cats some of the Good Stuff. Ordinarily I have a jar of catnip that I sprinkle on the orca scratching toy; it's yer basic cat ganja. But I also have a small packet of what you might by comparison call the malawi laughing grass of catnips, and today I gave the beasties some of that.
The orca has been dragged around the house a few times. I just got down (Texas-speak for laughed myself silly) watching Squeaky Joe run across the living room on his side. Thumbelina has found a watching perch and will not move a muscle for quite a while, I don't think. Everybody is very happy.

Bit of a late reply, It would be great if you can make the London Meet, The Salonista's have a reputation for being the largest sub group at most meets

Awesome. I used to give the cat some very dubious stuff called Kit'n'Kaboodle. She then spent the evening chasing little pink mice with glittery purple wings up the walls.
