*Is deeply impressed by the scribing*
I have a job interview tomorrow (For My Own Dang Job™), so I am doing Emergency Laundry. My smart trousers are covered in mud, you see. I am tempted to turn up in the usual Library of Glum uniform of jeans and sludge-coloured tee-shirt (self-defence-wear, as no one ever ever EVER dusts the books), as it is, after all, For My Own Dang Job™. I am blaming the Emergency Laundry on the migraine I had yesterday, which derailed EVERYTHING. Including, insofar as it felt like it, the stars from their courses.
Enough whining! On with the ironing!

*Gratefully accepts his bottle of red wine in a funky label (that's my favorite ), half round of cheddar, and box of crackers. Dons his T-shirt, takes out his notebook and pen, and gets ready for the new conversation*
I'd be perfectly willing to scribe for this convo. It was fun!

Fantastic job scribing, folks!
I should mention Sporky came home Saturday. He's...okay. Feeling better, but still jarred by the whole experience. He was in the hospital for an entire month. He feels like his life is disconnected.

Yay for Sporky!
> enjoyment and/or fire (which are, after all, basically the same things)
Great job scribing, one and all.

Somehow missed the 'textsfromlastnight.com' link. Found this halfway down.

Egons description of UK politics make it sound much more interesting than it is in reality .
Not sure who to vote for at the mo , I am tempted to write something obscene across the ballot paper , but will probably not break the habit of a lifetime and vote labour .
Good news about sporky
A big well done to the scribbers . Lil if you would like me to do another chunk for this conversation , I would be glad to .

Well done on the scribing!
I've decided that I should never keep papers from two different classes together, as apparently, the commas from one paper seem to have migrated to the other. Disconcerting, to say the least. But entertaining to envision!
Oxy took a header of the porch today. Good thing it startled him and he stayed where he was, and he didn't fall on the neighbors' kids, who were right below him! The vet says he's fine, but he won't go on the railing. Probably for the best!

Poor Ox!
And yes, Egon's description was quite helpful. Does he get the fuzzy blues for the last thread?

Although he hasn't been around much lately, it's quite an accomplishment when your first post to the conversation is also the last post of the conversation. So I vote he should get the blue mohair pants.
I can imagine commas migrating in vast herds. Semicolons would tend to bounce about like fleas, and parantheses would form flocks. But enough synaesthesia.
First treatment today was extremely gentle. I spent 20 minutes re-learning how to relax (I felt like I was ice slowly melting), lying on my stomach with my hips propped oddly, to compensate for a certain amount of torque.
Dr. F said neither he nor my doctor nor the radiologist can see what's causing the blockage that has led to the syrinx, and none of them have ever seen anything like it. It's more than 8 inches long (from T6 to L1, Dr. Z) and can't possibly be congenital, but is what they would expect to see in someone who fell off a three-story building and landed on their back. I cannot remember doing that. Dr. F intends to proceed with extreme caution. Next week will be my first acupuncture experience.

Oh, and I accept Irv and Tod's offers to scribe, as well as Teuchter's in conversation 9AX. I'm doing the first 500 this time, and how about if Irv does the next chunk and Irv the one after that? Any other volunteers? We need two more.

Awesome scribing all!
I am sleeping on an inflatable bed for the rest of my time in my current house, just moved my bed to J's. I work half a day tomorrow and then not again until the 26th!
