I'll be joining the job seekers in September. By then I'll have had a year off and, now that my health is improving, I really should be doing something more constructive - and money-bearing.
Saw my specialist today - and he doesn't want me back for a year - AND he's given me a programme of drug withdrawal so I can get myself off the steroids at last!

When I was busy lighting candles etc, I was also thinking about all my chums in the Salon and wishing good things for them.

It's lovely to have some lurkers stepping out of the shadows. I suspect our Salonistas made a good impression at the meets.

One of the astronauts, Mike Massimino, is currently tweeting from orbit. It's Astro_Mike, if anyone is interested. There is another astronaut currently in mission training on the ground tweeting as well: Astro_127 (Mike Polansky).

I was typing while you posted that, Teuchter. Nothing else on the job front at the moment, unfortunately. I am in contact with a recruiter at a previous employer, but they have nothing available but for a few very entry level, high school diploma type jobs. Probably not even full time positions.
