Before I go back and catch up on backlog, let me ask for help. Instead of sitting here and doing the scribing between 1000 and 2000, I had my legs up for much of the day, since I've sprouted an extra special nasty case of lower leg edema. And now that you guys have decided to start chatting double-time in the part that I would normally handle, posts after 2000, I am utterly hammered.

Help! I don't expect to able to sit here longer than an hour before I need to elevate the watermelons.

Won't try - my 4½-finger system (pat. pending) is not known for speed (or for accuracy for that matter )

It's a foggy morning. I haven't wetjetted my kitchen yet because I don't have 4 AA batteries of the non-rechargeable ilk to put in the the thing. In fact the legs are causing me to fall behind on my to-do list, shrunken though it may be.

It's not that I would put it past my government to start installing GPS devices in people's heads, it's that 1) she claimed this happened over a decade ago, when GPS's were fairly, um, large, especially when compared to most people's ocular cavity, and 2) she wasn't the kind of person who would be worth the govmnt's time and money. Delusions of grandeur.

Lil, if it can wait 'til tomorrow evening, I can get 2000-2500 for you. I'm not sure I could promise it sooner than that.

PS: 80 wpm, which is quite enough to impress most of my clients when I'm taking notes on their case. I suspect most of 'em think we still have our secretaries do all the typing for us.

I would offer to scribe but, this week is not a good one for anything not related to wedding or moving.

There is no hurry. I have just exhausted and irritated myself by cleaning the kitchen and changing bed linens, which doesn't go right when you have to keep sitting on the bed. It looks like a dog's dinner, but things will stay in place while I'm asleep, so it will do.

I misspoke about what's not here. I have Tod's and Amy's notes, which cover 1-500 and 1500 to 2000. So I'm in need of the space 501-1499 and now Irv is going to take the chunk from 2000 to 2500. We'll get 'er done whenever. And I should just take a deep breath and remember that Freddie is with us.

Half an hour's rest and I'll be ready to rock n roll again.

GDZ, you just concentrate on that extremely important upcoming event!

I use Wordpad all the time - when I'm catching up on backlog, posting in PR (not done that fgor a while)
and when I'm copying and pasting bits of walkthroughs for games

Everyone seems to have had an excellent time at the meets (shame I could afford to attend any of them)

I didn't know Denis Leary did music - I only knew his stand-up. Man, that guy was wired.

Kelli, I'm planning on getting down to a BMI of about 23 (70kg) I'm about 1/2 way now, and then starting going to the gym and gaining muscle. I'm swimming a lot now, but you can't build muscle on 500kcal a day! Well you can try, but it doesn't tend to work very well

I think I'll start reintroducing 1 meal a fortnight - and I'm buying loads of cookbooks to start getting new meals I can cook that are healthy, to try and stop me slipping back to old eating habits. I'll still do food replacement when I'm on call because it's so convient, but I might use cupasoup, it's cheaper.
