Frantic to get to the first page, WM, or frantic for some other reason?

On the last leg of the journey home. A local train heading out of the city. So it looks like only a couple of hours extra travelling time and £20 more for the taxi ride (it was £20 each for 7 of us, so I'm glad I didn't have to pay the fare on my own).

Congratulations, Teuchter! And I hope you had a good flight home.
Ben, take it from Post #1000 and go as far as you want. That will give me a break. Thanks!
Right then. Now that I have dispatched this task, it's time to face the shower. Daunting business with rubbery legs. But I'm careful -- I have a hyperactive imagination for all the things that could go wrong.

Lil, I hope you get some encouraging news from the doctor. Great scribing, by the way.
Congrats to T on the FTTF mug.

Just a frantic Monday morning, thanks for asking. Did a few bookeeping tasks before I left home this morning, then faced another half dozen "will you take care of these right away?" tasks when I got into the office. I am surprised I even made it onto the first LED given that I had over 30 posts from the previous thread to peruse first. Things seem to be on an even keel at the moment.

Wow, I haven't been this late in quite awhile.

Well I have been absent from the forum for a week and now you have started a new thread .
Yesterday evening as I was driving home in the snow I got to thinking how the telephone box would look in the snow , especially as they had put up a nice new bright yellow poster on it . When I got to my house and looked across the road I the telephone box had gone [ at this point , play one of those cartoon cant believe your eyes , sound effects in your head ] . Here is a picture of the space it used to be in : http://www.flickr.com/photos/23542651@N04/3248043696/sizes/l/
So as there is nothing to photograph opposite my house I walked a couple of yards up the road and took this photo of the bus stop .
So today the bus stop says 'Bolt' : http://www.flickr.com/photos/23542651@N04/3247217463/sizes/l/
Now I must get to the huge backlog .

I know it's hard to write clear and simple language for training manuals. But I do wonder whether the cat's been tangling up the synapses of the person who wrote the online training which I am reviewing at the moment.

Is there a hole where it used to be?

Not even the first LED - well I was at work with no internet access.
How odd that the phone box has gone, Tod.
Going on the second half of my training course in a bit, another two and quarter hours of my life I won't get back

Just got back from Faith's school, where they had Honor Roll chapel this morning (I missed last quarter's, because of w*rk, but since this is my first day off...) I actually missed which awards she got, because I zoned out for a sec, but I know citizenship was one (that's the only one Faith remembered) but the certificates will be coming home today, so I can report back if anyone wants me to. Pretty impressive Honor Roll stats--last quarter, 85% of the school made it on, and this quarter 91% did. Did find it funny that a couple of the kids that had perfect attendance were absent today, though But I do know that there are some nasty germs floating around town--I'm just glad that I've managed to avoid them so far, and since I'm no longer surrounded by children, I should be able to avoid emulating my mom by sneezing and pulling all the muscles down one side...

I would volunteer to scribe, but that's likely a very certain way to get Notepad to arrive at the most inconvenient time

First proper bath in too long -- I much prefer a bath to a shower -- and I feel human. almost. The gumby component is very gumby, but that will go away with a few minutes of sitting quietly. It will be a good day because I should know something more at the end of it.
Has Z gone to Morocco? When I was doing archaeological excavations through old threads on the weekend I encountered Woolly Mammoth -- it is a shame we don't see him any more, eh?

*sigh* Second LED for me this time. I blame... I'm not sure what I blame, but it certainly isn't my fault!
