My mother is gone, as is D. I am officially childless until the 28th of July. Now, on to writing lectures...

WHAT? Child-and-mate-less, on a week-end, and writing lectures? Your really ought to be ought living the high and wild life. The mall, with absolutely no familial or domestic needs.

I seem to be still working, too. I got offered a rush job generating a map, one of those downtown business guides, and accepted it. Never done it before. Client wants something sort of like google earth, so I'm doing some Bryce renders.

Thumbelina caught the mouse! And I was able to grab it off her before she could really close her jaws hard. Holding it by the tail, I took it to Australia in mouse miles, down to the river.

Boy, is Thumbs ever pleased with herself.

Rev Nick, I've been mateless for a long while, and I'll be childless all of July, so really, writing lectures this weekend is no big deal. I'm hoping beyond hope that my TA can take one of my lectures, so I can go to a meeting, but we'll see.
