Good Doctor Zomnker (This must be Tuesday," said GDZ to himself, sinking low over his Dr. Pepper, "I never could get the hang of Tuesdays.") Posted May 2, 2004
Are you certain of that?

Quite a few schools do the IB, Caer. Not just independent ones either but state schools too, either instead of, or as well as, the A level system. Within a few years there will be no A levels anyway and 16+ will be studying for a diploma. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/education/3487979.stm

How do we know she isn't an imposter? Oh, I know, lets check the biometric data on her ID card!
Coely, it is time the whole shebang was sorted once and for all. I know it it must be something teachers dread; yet more tinkering, but if it was possible for education to be more flexible, then more kids could benefit. But I suppose the danger could be more segration between bright kids who advance faster and those who would take a slower route.
MR, lovely dress and will look fab with your colouring.

The dress is beautiful MR - and you're clever to have found the right shoes so quickly - it usually takes me months to track down such things.

I have this question from the depth of backlog - how do you actually spell 'plagiarism'? I saw several different ways...

ltp, that fact alone explains a lot, dear.
Thank you all for the kudos on the dress...I have to admit it was the last thing I tried on. I'm actually on my way to find the, ahem, foundational garments to go with it, as I just don't think straps of any other kind are going to work.
Now, for a summer wedding, is it acceptable to go without hose?

coelacanth Posted May 2, 2004
MR, I think you want something by Nancy Glanz. I would say yes to going without the summer wedding hosiery as long as you can get a good fake tan.
Spelling. http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=plagiarism
Caer, yes, you're right. It seems ridiculous to dump a new system that has actually only gone through a complete 2 year cycle twice. This June will be only the 3rd time for Curriculum 2000 and we already know it is going to be scrapped. (It started in Sept 2000, first A2 exams June 2002.)

Asteroid Lil - Offstage Presence Posted May 2, 2004
It was 30º F this morning (slightly below 0ºC) this morning, incidentally. I lit a fire, and have rekindled the pilot light on the wall heater in case the same thing happens tonight. May!!

*there is a rustling noise from underneath a pile of paper on the floor* the emerges in a shower of salad leaves and chicken bones, looking flustered*
Right, the notes are up to date and I'll write it all up immediately. No one post anything substantive from now on... please .
