Doubt that you're far away from each other, Seth. Stay safe, and for God's sake, keep your heads down!
Seth, re your immigration problem....my suggestion is to email everyone you can think of...preferably, oh, THE SUN. Or perhaps the Guardian. If you would like, I can do a bit of research for you and send you some email addys....

Seth, I am so sorry about this mess. You must both be frantic.
It really annoys me that people can turn up at Dover illegally and then be granted an amnesty, yet those who go through the proper process get hammered. Where is the justice in that?

Seth of Rabi Posted Feb 5, 2004
There is no justice, Caer. Just arbitrary ever-changing regulations and an army of little Hitlers to apply them.
Everyone,
Sorry about the barrack-room language last night. It was a bit out of character

Seth - I was thinking of the Citizens advice, because they can help with immigration matters..

Cheers, Z.
Now I've had chance to sleep on it, I've written a polite but pointed email to Geoff Hoon. It's the military who are most keen that my work progresses smoothly, so if anyone can make representation I guess I should give MOD first bite at the cherry.
And then there's the Foreign Office, Jack Straw's been here on a number of occasions, the Department for International Development who provide most of the funding.
Oh yes, and I wrote to Tony Blair also since it's mainly his decisions that led to me being here.
Maybe things aren't so bleak.

Maybe you've heard of a couple of our Florida boys with similar problems. Got married over here and their wives are not being allowed into the states. Not that that helps you other than knowing that the system is distributing screwings all around

All over the world, "T" immigration services attract the lowest forms of pondlife. More even than tax departments
