Looks around for suitably winged prospective partner, where's that Owl when you need him. Probably playing around with his hairy hefalump. Giggles, now there's a match made in heaven. An Owl and a Mammoth.
Morning All,
Need to get planning a garden re-arrange around a new kennel. Hmmm...

Amy, it was probably a borrowing bogle that hid your office keys - I had one of them in my home this morning. I took a pair of earrings from the top of a drawer, stopped at a desk in the hallway to get a paper and went into the bathroom.
Then the earrings were gone.
I checked drawer, desk, bathroom - three times.
The fourth time I looked at the desk they were right there.
Argh! I hate when the bogles do these things - it made me miss my bus!

If anyone is without a partner for the three-legged event, do feel free to leap into the combat suit, it's an infinite capacity suit.
I felt ridiculously tearful yesterday at the prospect of the building works. The house-next-door-but-one is almost completely gutted, I expect it will be gone by tomorrow evening.
The neighbour next door (between us and the soon-to-be-demolished-house) G, knocked on the door last night to say they were off on holiday in the morning for two weeks. He seemed very chipper about the new houses, I thought. But then they've been living there for less than a year and perhaps aren't as attached to the neighbourhood as I am. Also when they return they will have missed seeing the house come down.
On a cheery note, my car had it's first MoT yesterday with a full service, it was £40 less than Vauxhall charged last year for a full service alone. It's such a relief to be out of a three year warranty period and to be able to go back to using the highly reliable and vey helpful family run business I'd been using for years. They even remembered me without making any entries into their database (you can hear the heavy handed typing over the phone). As I was there to pick up the car as they were leaving for home, it was interesting to note that they all rode bicycles.

Right, I'm off for a few days now, so I'll miss the race. But it's for a good reason. My little sister is getting married on Saturday. It's going to take me quite a while to fly home.

Phil Posted Aug 9, 2006
Ben probably was wondering about somewhere that sounds like it could be exotic and very different to here. At least I was Travel broadens the mind you know. Armchair travel does it for a lot less money
Have fun at the wedding David. You're not going to be an owl in a penguin suit are you

>> Ben, Why did you want to know about azerbaijan?
What Phil said. One of the things I love about this thread is the armchair travelling... er Diversity. Yes. Diversity. That's what it is. No odballs and missfits at all. We're diverse.
So.... what are elections like in azerbaijan, then?
>> Currently getting excited about statisitics.
I love it when you talk dirty!
