Drat only achieved the sixth level being a good heretic. I always thought Dis was in Norfolk.

Agapanthus Posted Aug 8, 2006
*Ag shuffles in, trying to look nonchalant and not at all like someone who has been away for a few days and is not suffering from a major attack of backlogitis. She sidles to the kitchen and collects a very large and rootles about to see if the Mammoth has left any buns at all. Then she slips into her accustomed place on the sofa, takes out her knitting, and tries to look as if she never moved since last time and has been listening attentively all along.*

Careful the Mammoth doesn't mistake you for a beanbag and sit on you. He's fond of that. Not properly house trained you see.

Hati, I personally love the Theatre Royal on Drury Lane - it's a beautiful building. Quite a lot of London's theatres are old and lovely, though!
I'm in Purgatory , but I score quite highly on Level 1 (Limbo) and Level 7 (Violent) as well.

My name is Ben. I am a heretic from Norfolk.
Also a Virtuous Non-Believer, Lustful, Gluttonous, and Violent.
Yep. That's me.

Agapanthus Posted Aug 8, 2006
To my horrified amazement, I am in Limbo, being a Virtuous Pagan.
WHAT?
Well, yes, I am an atheist. And I like to think, not a totally bad person. But I only scored moderately on lustfulness, gluttony and wanting to put certain politicians over my knee and beat them with a slipper.
The lapsed Catholic part of me knows I should be charging about under a rain of burning pitch for wanting to get off with my best friend from school and Cate Blanchett. The nagging super-ego feels I deserve to have my love-handles chewed off by a monster-dog for my addiction to ice-cream. And of course, I should be down in the eighth circle having my head wrenched round for having told Lil's fortune just the other week. Not to mention the odd trip to the breezy first circle for *ahem* totally having sex before marriage. With all sorts of people.
And yet, somehow, here I am in Limbo, sitting on the soft grass and having a lovely chat with Aristotle.
It's a mad world, my masters. I can't get into Hell even when I think I've tried.

dElaphant (and Zeppo his dog (and Gummo, Zeppos dog)) - Left my apostrophes at the BBC Posted Aug 8, 2006
I'm right with you, Ag. Limbo. I thought I would be deeper in too.
Zeppo's in Purgatory, and Gummo is in Level 3 (gluttony).

Kelli, the noise isn't too bad at the moment as they are still gutting the interior. But once they move onto taking down the external walls, then it will be noisy, no doubt.

Then of course there's the Globe, if you like the idea of interesting theatre buildings. Not typical, but interesting.

J is awesome! We have known eachother since church youth group, call it age 13. She is great to talk to (we've talked into the wee hours every night but one) and seems to understand where I am coming from on a lot of things. She is greatly into sarcasm. I don't know what else to say.

STRANGELY STRANGE ( A brain on a spring ) Posted Aug 8, 2006
Perhaps the Mammoth can get one of those things that beep when moving backwards, like they fit on lorries these days, lol.
.
Well I have finally switched gas supplier after putting it off for a year!
British Gas's last price rise was the final straw, yes all companies have had price rises but I don't feel British Gas is trying hard enough to keep their prices down. They have always been the most expensive supplier, and have the largest number of customers since they were the only gas supplier at one time.
I am now with N Power, yes N Power's price went up around 60% since 2003, but British Gas's price went up around 90% since then if I remember correctly.
...anyway, on an annual bill of around £300, I will save £80 which isn't bad!! I am classed as a low user, even though I like my heating up high.

Pleaase don't under any circumstances fit one of those beepers to teh Mammoth. The Atelier is one of the few Nanny free, HSE places left on Earth and long may it last.
AHH, get off my flipper you great lump, look out when you're reversing. Owl have you got a license to drive Mammoths?
