I had, and reported, white screen problems at about 5.30pm BST. Write to Abi and give her the details. She's collecting reports.

Well done, Sporky!
There, there d'E *pats his arms reassuringly* At least you made it through the backlog, and found Zeppo again!

Marv, really, don't go to any great lengths for me. Really, you've seen my house...like *I'm* a neat freak?

I got two words for you... Bachelor Pad...
Some work has to be done to make it habitable. I'll see if I can bribe Bryce into helping me

The bit that really annoys me about these white screens of death is the smug little message of 'done' down in the bottom left hand corner of the IE browser window

I too have been having trouble with blank screens, but I was blaming ntl
The baguettes turned out fine and No2 son is going to make a sub out of one for his lunch tomorrow. He is thrilled as he has received a substantial payrise, nothing to do at all with H tipping off No2 son's manager that he was looking for another job .
I was in the garden earlier on and Cassie came over to say hello, we had a little chat about things and stuff. She wandered off to see how the composter was doing when for no reason at all she leapt straight up in the air, in such a way that a Harrier pilot would be proud of . The look of surprise on her little furry face had me sniggering for ages after.

I meant to add: that Kensington Gardens to the bandstand in Hyde Park isn't that far and across the road from the hotel, down a side street is a very reasonable Italian restaurant, T.

I've been logged on all day and haven't seen any white screens. Just lucky, I guess.

The WSOD is a chronic intermittent fault, for me, has been for nearly six months.
Watched the AFI lifetime award program for Robert de Niro. It's amazing how much he's influenced the new generation of actors.

One note on the white screens..
I closed out my browser and opened it back up and it let me in. I think that there might be a DNS issue that is causing this periodic White Out.
Perhaps my browser cached the DNS entry for h2g2 and that is why I could not get in with Bryce sittign at my side able to access the site.
I will test further.

If Courtesy has a lurking brother, I think we all need to get together and ask him to come out of hiding. Show yourself, Sir!

I managed to avoid the WSOD a couple of times too by the logging out/new browser route a couple of times. Then the whole net seemed to be treaclised, so I put it down to ntl. That is then usually followed by losing our cable connection altogether for an hour so, but not yesterday.
Another scorchio day and the pressure is rising, so I hope you are able to take things easy today, Amy.
Lets get a look at you then, Courtesy's Brother.

I had white screen syndrome for an hour this morning. I've only just managed to get in.
