A dagwood up here in Vermont (and Northern New York [what I've seen of it]) is a sandwich consisting of ham, turkey, bacon, cheese, sauteed onions, lettuce, tomato, and mayo.

Good morning everyone!
*heads for the banquet table, the freshness of whose contents has been preserved with a stretchy VPB* Hmm, must remember to say how the VPB was invented by Irv at the Aroma Cafe.
Today I am finally going to Roswell this morning, after two months of false starts. I made an appointment for the Track Shoe to get its oil change and get the road salt washed off. An appointment does the trick -- now I ~have~ to go.
There is a PAUSE button on the Transporter screen. I had the same problem as you, Munchers, with the Pro version. In the next release, Pandromeda have made sure it says "render paused" in big orange letters on the screen, so you know what's what. But it is unabashedly high-end, and is, I gather, being used by the pro's in conjunction with Maya. Maya! What civilian could afford that?
I am working on the next release on Hootoonia, having learned many new tricks this week. Geeks would love the Mojoworld chat lists -- full of mathematicians and physicists and NASA employees, all of them addicted to Mojoworld... and using the SDK to write plug-ins...

So am I the only one who passed on the first time?
d'E two quick notes Utah is West, not Midwest by way of being within the delimiting feature of the Midwest (the Rockie Mountians) and secondly I helped fix your school's firewall the other day. Thouf of you while I was trying to get the administator to listen to me.

I *cannot* believe, d'E, that you would share vital government information like that! You're the Robert Hanssen of the comics!
As for sandwiches, I'm a fan of the Reuben.

I second the motion about the Reuben. I *heart* a good artierial blocker like a Reuben on occaision. The best one I have even had was in Las Vegas at the Excalibur.

A Rueben is good rye bread that has pastrami or corned beef and saurkraut with mustard and sometimes 1000 island dressing and swiss cheese that has been grilled.

I had one once, it was very nice, but huge and somewhat gooey while it was still warm.

Ruebens are one of the best sandwiches ever. I had the opportunity to have one at the stage door deli in NY, NY - mmmmmmmmmmmmmm good.
Marv - I passed both my written and driving exams on the first tries, just the perfectionist in me

It never ceases to amaze me what one can find on the Internet.
Ladies and Gentlemen, allow me to introduce you to...The Reuben:

Having seen the Reuben link, I feel a lot less guilty about my bacon baguette at lunch time
I passed my driving test first time, the written theory test was only introduced about 5 years ago. I believe that the age limit for learners drivers is to be increased from 17 to 18 years here.

Passed my driver's test on the first shot, as well. I even passed the California written exam I had to take to get my license here on the first try, without even studying. Most of it, if you've been driving awhile, is common sense.
Ummm, a ruben....

I passed the written exam %100 and the driving test %98. I hear that the instructor never gives out perfect scores on teh driving test. I also had that test in the middle of a blizzard. He asked why I was not driving the speed limit and I told him that the conditions did not allow me to. He liked that answer.

I'm not a fan of sauerkraut so when I order one I replace that salty vinegary cabbage mixture for cole slaw and it is a heavenly improvement.
The Reuben is the only entirely invented sandwich, or so the screenwriters for the movie "Quiz Show" say.
All this talk of sandwiches makes me crave a meatloaf sandwich, with mayo and cheese and ketchup.

Actually, I think if you replace the sauerkraut with cole slaw, it has another name, doesn't it?

We've nearly got enough information here for a guide to American sandwiches. Does anyone feel like writing an article?
