On cars, I am back on the MG hunt again (it being perfect weather for a flip top at the moment ) and should be getting one checked out by the garage next week. Fingers crossed it isn't the shambles the first one was.

It's always best to look at soft-tops in the wet. Check for mushrooms behind the seats.
The Antmobile is booked into repairs to the damage tomorrow.

Come over here, honey. *tells her about the bomb* So, your fiance heroically took the bomb into the Majic Forest to save Lil and the Atelier.
Hands her another box of tissues.

It feels great to be back again!

I've updated the time zone table, and I have table tags dancing in front of my eyes... I'm still not sure if the current table is the best way to present the researchers and their time zones - is it easy to read? I haven't dared to check it in Netscape yet - if it doesn't look good there...
Any suggestions how to make this better? A831656
I've been thinking of making a list later on sorted the other way around - first column A-Z, second column user names sorted alphabetically, third and fourth column time zones - or is the present time zone table enough if you're looking for a friend's time zone?

He was a hero, Floradora, he saved us all.
Just collected the car, driving beautifully following its service and I haven't had to fully test the breaks yet, but they seem to be responding earlier.
The car we had whilst in NE, was a Hyundai Lantra, I had hoped for a Dodge or Pontiac and we were offered an upgrade, but there didn't seem much point when there was only the two of us. It was, of course, automatic and had cruise control (little point of that on our roads). We did 1860 odd miles, filled the tank up from almost dry 3 times and it still cost less than one tank full for the Celica!

I like the Timezone Table T. But I'd be careful putting in the change from summertime, I know for a fact that Egypt changed while I was there, a month earlier than Europe. Not that that seems a worry at the moment

Just added Goo dividers between the different times - is that too much?
Munchkin - I won't worry about Egypt until a researcher tells me he/she is there - and I think the time zone site I've found is pretty detailed, let's see...
Did Egypt change from summer time on Friday 27 September at noon?
I've had 2 researchers so far from countries that don't have a time zone code of their own (Iceland and Bahrain) so I had to put them in the A-Z codes - luckily none of them have summertime, or that would have made things a bit tricky...

I would just like it to be noted for the record that I most emphatically do *not* have a moustache! (Although I found the chaps quite sexy)

Err, no. It was the Thursday (Toc's birthday so a bit easier to remember) night, possibly early Friday morning but I seem to remember a whole thing about her having a twenty five hour birthday, which we thought was very friendly of the Egyptians. My memory really is getting bad.

Amy, I would recommend a good body-shop (as my room mate works for one) but I am unsure as to if they do ant-calls. Oh and the fact that the Puddle is in the way...
I have been working on the back story for a role playing character that I am going to be playing. I will post it somewhere if it is any good and let you lot know about it.
The Timezone page looks ok in Netscape, fear not Ti!

Thanks Marv - Netscape has been driving me crazy at times, refusing to show background in empty data cells, not showing all font sizes, showing wide borders if I don't specifically say I want them to be zero, and so on...

Did I miss something, MR? Who mentioned the fact you have a mustache?
My Onion desk calendar has a hilarious headline today: "OJ Finds Killer". From the article:
"Simpson, who had been on a personal crusade to uncover the truth about the double homicide ever since it occurred on June 13, 1994, personally delivered 27-year-old Hermosa Beach auto mechanic Stuart Rogers to LAPD headquarters, telling law-enforcement officials that he had 'found your man'".
::still a-twitter since she was mentioned *twice* in the introduction::

I still have a somewhat different view on the netscape compatability issue. I visit hundreds of sites every day that work fine with NS but I see a number that don't. That makes me realize that it is indeed possible to have a good webiste that works with everything, but many designers do not take the effort to do so. (note that I am in no way putting you into this category, just giving overall impressions). When designers use features that force me to use a browser that I do not like (IE) it irritates me. I do not want someone else determining for me what programs I am running to access the internet. The way that many web designers think seems to be that if you are not using their preffered browser you are not worthy of accessing their information. That kind of thinking insults me. I choose to use NS out of a sense of bloody-mindedness anymore than anything else. People have been trying to force me to use IE for years now and I am adamatly against doing so. Once Mozilla fixes the issue with slow page loads I will likely switch to it, as it is the type of program that I agree with the underlying philosophy. That being that it is a free program released to the world for those with the ability to modify it to meet their needs etc. Once it is stable and fast enough to meet my needs I will use it exclusivly. As it is I have to use IE for a couple of internal sites for work. This have been a thorn in my side for some time. Those sites use all kinds of bloatware shiny features that have no business being in my face. I don't care if it is the way that the designers web development class told him it should be like, I don't like it. One in particular makes the page slow to load and very buggy, but the designer will not remove it because he thinks that it is nifty. Not noticing that no one uses that fdeature as it does not work as advertised, he continues to leave it in.
OK, I will shut up now. I know I am in a very small minority on this issue.
