About backlog: my advice is that you don't ignore it completely - at least check the first couple of postings to see the what the thread is about, and then the last couple of postings to see where the conversation is heading right now...

*finally finishes with her tinkerings, pops a cap and fires up the blowtorch. the flame is a pale silvery colour, slightly longer than ordinary and more tapered. she retrieves her cup of lime jello and tests out her handiwork. the torch neatly cleaves the jello, but doesn't melt the cup. she sticks a finger in the jello, and runs the torch over it. the jello is cleaved and instantly slides off her hand, leaving the skin unharmed*
There. Now when we do find Lil, no matter *how* they're keeping her captive, we should be able to get her loose
*pulls out a large metallic object about the size of a galvanised bucket it is shaped like a bundt-cake pan, but has hinged and jointed sides, making it expandable*
And we should be able to restrain the culprits using these...
Any new clues? I'm all set to go...after a cup of and some snack-packing that is...
*asks Matina for a cup of blackcurrant and an apricot scone*

A round cake pan with a hole in the center. It has high sides and divides the cake into cuttable sections by virtue of the shape.
*wonders what sort of rascally varmints will be moseying into town next*

*munching scone*
It makes bundt cakes of course!
It looks a bit like a jello mold, which is what suggested it to me.
*laughs* I just realised that most of my weaponry for this adventure is based on cookware...I actually -do- own a blowtorch IRL, though I only use it for making creme brulee...(ordinarily, that is...)
