Yes, I've met Matina before, last year at MikeA's birthday party I believe.
She tried to give me a phlog, though I have no idea why.

Morning all.
I am typing from home today. I gave up on being responsible and decided to stay home and be sick instead.
Matina, some please. Thank you.

Thanks, Caer. I feel better, but sound worse. And since I talk alot at my job, I decided that it made more sense not to go in today.
*sips *

Probably wise, everyone will say 'you sound dreadful, are you all right?'
Making you feel ten times worse!
On the loo brush front, I shall be taking No1 son a new one next time we visit. Also some caustic soda as this supposed to work wonders on cleaning bathroom fixtures. I don't feel I need to say more on that subject!

No, if I take alcohol, he will only assume its for him!

Ah, the memories of uni! I was never quite desperate enough to drink rubbing alcohol, though. I did have the advantage of being female and getting drinks bought for me by flashing a smile,of course...

He is at Uni in Wales, not only does the Students' Union have three bars, the beer is ridiculously cheap!
I would like to think that he isn't completely ratarsed (no offence intended Styx) from the beginning of term to the end! But I too was a student once upon a time.

I'm sure that he's sober most of the time, Caer. After all, he's still *in* uni, which he wouldn't be if he were all the time.

True, Gw7en
I don't worry about him, he is relatively sensible and in his fourth and final year.
No2 son's turn next year!

Ah, to be at Uni in Europe. Here the student pub was closed down during my first year because the drinking age went up to 21, plus the university went lawsuit-phobic. Then we had to walk a block to one of the town pubs!

Speaking of Uni ("college" as call it) today I went with my mother to visit Columbia and New York universities in NYC, which was loads more fun than a day of school. Columbia is amazing, probably my first choice of school... the landscape of the city's changed since when I was there this summer, though
