Morning all.
Its Monday and I've caught the flu from my mangler... sorry, manager. I feel awful, but we've got training in yet another new software this week, so I'm stuck at work.
*curls up under her blanket on the sofa and lays her head on a pillow*
Matina, some weak please. Thank you.

Gw7en, I think you had it right the first time.

OK settling into work this morning. We are hoping that today is not as bad as it could be.

Gw7en, could you explain about the aluminum underpants, please? See post 640 in this thread (and reactions in following posts).
Garius, that was definitely a 10.

Lil, I long ago stopped trying to make sense out of Colorado lawmakers and their policies. I've found that my life has been much more enjoyable since I made that decision. Personally, I blame Will Perkins and the Coloradans for Family Values. But then again, I blame them for any strange, nonsensical laws that pop up around here.
I do hope that you still come up. I can tell you where to spit at the CFV headquarters on the way through Colorado Springs.
Maybe it has to do with the metal detectors some of our schools have. Can't have the teachers setting them off with their undergarments now can we?
*thinks about what an aluminum bra must feel like and cringes*

Evening all. Back in Nodnol after the long weekend.
Prising the backlog over to the fire...
Happy birthday BB, even though it is late - suprisingly my trains weren't! (even if it took a 25+ year old disel engine on the way up).
Aluminum underwear no thanks, though it might stop cosmic rays from what I remember from school.
Get well soon G7, give everyone who's making you come in the cold

Thanks, OP. That's exactly my plan. Well, that and looking even more miserable than I feel so that they can feel suitably bad for making me be here.

No aluminum underpants in Denver? About time, I say.
Well, all, the second performance went well. Bigger crowd than night one, and that almost never happens!
And I've initiated a third Grand Mao at this school. One more, preferably a Sophomore student, and I'll be able to get the "evil-evil-plan" into full swing!
Oh, good news everyone! I was bored and downloaded QBASIC so that I could do my Computer Programming Classwork at home. Now I'll actually be able to have the time to post messages from school without my annoyingly busy schedule getting in the way!
Almost done with Second Foundation. Just wish I had more time to read it. I think I've figured out where Star's End is located, but Asimov is keeping me guessing.

Morning all. Lovely day in sunny Queensland. The Australian wildlife had it's first victory yesterday. There I was sitting on a chair on a friends outdoor deck enjoying a quiet beer (VB) and some "killer ants" invaded my space. Sob.
Wish you were here

*Wonders if aluminium (aluminum?) pants would keep the ants out.*
Now, I'd just like to say that titanium boxer shorts are simply the be-...

Sorry, carry on.

Perhaps aluminium is passe, you know, pasSAY. While titanium might be nice, mylar would make more sense. *colander falls off her head and crashes onto the desk, badly startling Vincent Black Shadow*
Art class in a couple of hours, and I can finally say goodbye to this large still life. Portraits next! And already I need new pencils in certain values, particularly 2B.
Looney, I lived with fire ants for 17 years and do not miss them at all. One has to be constantly checking out where one decides to stand while gardening, or else one's feet get swarmed. And the "interesting" thing is how they wait till they all get to a certain height before they all start biting at once.

Now, MorphaMet undies - that'd be something!
(For anyuone who doesn't know, MorphaMet is the main metal used to construct the Space Station, a special alloy that conforms to any structural program input to it.)
