Caer you may think it's bad with no. 2 son but I had my first driving lesson today *deep sigh* I'm one of those 'special drivers' apparently.

Congratulations to the whole Eat family (I would have named him Good personally- I couldn't help myself).

*raises a flute of (which happens to be caffeine free, sugar free yechy tasting liquid due to D*et)*

i really don't like cars, i'm not sure why!

Spiny, a prime example of why I hate gardening, on spite of being a member of the Royal Horticultural Society! I love looking at other peoples though.

Cars are glorious, particularly mine, I gave it a loving pat when the machanic brought it back! Driving is so much fun.

No2 son has just had a mock driving test, bit unfair in the dark I thought. He was tested to advance driving standard by a colleague of his instructor, who said he had never seen a result like it! He aced it! Fingers are now tied in knots for the real one at the end of the month!

I am now having a celebratory drink and yes, I am counting the calories, the glass contains 130.

Personally I often mention to the cat under the computer table that there is a lot to be said for red buses

Doing myself out of calories, in fact there are only 85.5 in that glass. Goody, I can have another!

Buses round here are hopeless, never on time or get cancelled and two thirds stop running after 7.30pm. Don't mention bus fares, through the roof!

No1 son has a dream to drive around the World in a converted Routemaster. Lets all join in:

The driving lesson was curious as I have been biking on these roads all my life, so it was merely adjusting to the minor differences... right?
