Ah, change. It's fun to go into a grocery store worked by underpaid kids who don't no math at all during a power outage
....
As one of those previous grocery kids, I would pick fun at your English (don't no math at all... ??)

Morning all!
Having missed the more advanced maths in this conversation due to being asleep, I think that I shall simply keep my mouth closed and move on.
Looks like rain here today. Which means snow by next week unless some miracle occurs...
Matina, some please. Thank you.

I was working a cash register at tesco in 1970 when decimalisation of British currency occurred. Next day I went off to do my own shopping and am proud to say that I interceded when a greengrocer's boy nearly short-changed an old lady by 17 and a half new pence (3s 6d).
Realtor lady here in a few minutes. We're going to go look at an old adobe on two acres of land at the other side of town.

Congrats to Mrs, Mr and the new junior Eats
I presume it all came along naturally or was Mrs Eats induced?
I'm sure you'll let us know all about the place Lil.

Congratulations the the Eatsmice family! What a good weight and names. David is my No2 brother's name and James is No1 son's middle name.
Also cause for celebration is that my wonderful car passed its MOT, first time, again!!!! I can relax for another year.

congratulations!!!!!!
speaking of maths homework, i am stuck on this question:
x is inversely proportional to y. when the value of x is doubled, what happens to the value of y?
any ideas?
3Eth Conversation at Lil's
Chris Tonks Posted Oct 9, 2001
Yes... I think that's right.
If something is inversely proportional to something else then that something else goes under a one as a fraction. So if x becomes 3x, y becomes 1/3.

I hope your not thinking we will do your homework for you
What's the problem ?
understanding the question or working out the answer.
if 1/x = y what happens?
