There are some in every school.
Well, best be off. I'll try and pop in during lunch tomorrow, but I'm not sure - the Internet was down in school today.
Toodlepip!

Hiya Styx, nice to see you again! Can I - I mean, can Matina get you anything?

Ah, good idea, Matina would you be a dear and get me a tall cool glass of water? Yes I know that Utah beer is like water but let us use real water. Thanks!
The house we lived in when I was born was a two story brick house with 27 rooms in it. It had stained glass in the entry and was beautiful, if I can ever find the poem I wrote about it I will post it to The Other Place.

That would be great, Marv.
Of all the houses that I have lived in, I have to say that I liked the one in Fergus Falls, Minnesota, the best. Its was a three-story house with huge trees all around it. My room was in the attic and I had glow in the dark stars on my ceiling. (I was 8 years old at the time. This was a big deal. ) There was a window on hte wall half way up the first flight of stairs with a ledge big enough for me to sit on with the cats. I watched my first 3+ foot snowfall from that window.
The only thing it was missing was a fireplace.

*makes sure Matina has put out a slice of mbougatses for Styx* Matina, could you be a dear and make cinnamon buns for tomorrow morning? Mmmmmmmmmm
I have a daydream I am developing about the home that is to be. The one I am going to find somewhere in the hills of Lincoln County. It will be near water, whether running or simply near the surface, so there will be cottonwoods and a few firs. It will be an adobe with tigas (peeled round wood poles serving as ceiling beams, sticking out through the exterior walls) and a splendid view. There will be some kind of barn... *sigh*

Hullo, all. Today is the first really nice day we've had in Montana. So nice, in fact, my Pauline Legacy prof let us out an hour early...good thing, I needed to enjoy this glorious weather!
Backlog commentary:
d'E, I personally think crispers only hide the veggies from you until they go bad, which is when you realize you bought the same stuff again!
Gw7en, dearest, Fergus Falls? My goodness, but that does bring back memories! Went to one of those Lutheran schools back in Minnesota about (or is that a-booot?) 10 years back. Loads of fun.
And speaking about houses of character, we just did some research on ours, and the old guy down the street was right! Our house is a 1948 Montgomery-Ward foursquare kit house. How cool is that? Okay, since M-W went out of business, I guess the warranty is no good, but still. A kit house, brought on a rail car. We checked some of the boards inside a wall, and they are all stamped and numbered. It also turns out that all of the woodwork in the house is cherry. Unpainted, thank goodness. What a wonderful thing. I think I may have to move my family somewhere and just keep the house for history's sake. Now, the next move is to restore the original outside, and redo the kitchen cabinets. But one thing at a time...
oh, dinner! New barbeque, courtesy of the IRS...gotta love it.
Marv, what's going on with you? Long time no convo...still on your way?!??!!

Dear all,
Having an interesting time here. VMS is now no longer a mystery, just totally confusing.
Seeing London each night and had a whirl on the London Eye....awesome.
The Underground rat-race is truly scary to someone from the north of Scotland. Where on Earth do all these people go?
Managed some culture in the National Gallery, and laughed my head off at the "art" in the Tate Modern.
Well...must go, my lecturer calls,
Hope this finds you all well
Looking forward? to two weeks of backlog
