You don't think something could have happened to him...or the Esirpretne-Z got taken over by rebels or something???

*looks worried*

*GL's ears prick up at the worried tone in E's voice*

You're really concerned, aren't you. Perhaps we should organize a search mission.

*Looks around.*

Crew is pretty scattered, though.

*Looks around again. Notices several pale orange-skinned creatures near each of the crew members, trying to look inconspicuous.*

Say, E. When was the planet-wide prison sentence due to expire for the Sunkists?

[YK] Sunkists?

[YC] An entire race that got a planet-wide prison sentence for five hundred years last year.

[Link] What was their crime?

They transmitted nappy adverts non-stop on all known frequencies throughout the galaxy for twelve whole minutes.

[YK] Oh yeah, I remember something like that happening last year.

[YC] I don't.

[Link] "Last year" is before your time, YC.

*Several miles downshoar, a huge ball of flame shoots out from under the water. In a few minutes, a very damp and sooty looking Afgncaap5 wanders back up the beach*

PEEVES! WHERE ARE YOU!!!

[Several miles upshore (not from Affy, from the usual gang), Peeves cackles]

[YK] Oh dear. Woody do this time?

*Types away at his monitor for a few minutes. Reads something.*

Hurmph. I thought so. I just did a search through the media archives for recent news about the Sunkists. It seems that the prison sentence was lifted on appeal due to a technicality. The charges were based on the broadcast going to ALL systems. The Sunkists' lawyer argued that they had missed one obscure remote system in their broadcast, so they were not guilty of the particular charge. There are rumours of new charges being laid, but nothing definate yet.

So, that means that the Sunkists are out and about again.

*Looks again at the pale orange-skinned creatures watching the crew. Wonders if they have anything to do with the Captain's delay.*

*dark shadow falls across the beach. The crew look up to see a huge, sleek vessel, looking like the original Esirpretne but much cooler. this is the Esirpretne-Z.*

Hi everyone, this is the Captain speaking. Sorry I'm late, just back from Canadia... so, what about these Sunkists, eh?

[YK] Well, it's all very interesting ...

[YC] So what was the name of this obscure system?

[YK] I think it was called the Solar System.

I take it the holiday is over before it's properly started.

...And I've only just unpacked.

*Stares at the cooler looking Esirpretne-Z, downshore to the wreckage of his robotic monster suit, and then into the air where Peeves is floating. Affy shakes his fist at Peeves before walking into the CLI Mini-UFO, launching it, and docking with the Esirpretne-Z. After very little time, he is cleaned, dried, and on the bridge*

Ah, it's good to be back!

[YK, YC, Nerfal, Link, and the three red-shirted extras board the Millenium Bug, which a moment later takes off and lands in the Esirpretne-Z's shuttlebay.]

[Peeves] Hey wait! You forgot me!

[The shuttlebay doors close. Inside,]

[YK] So let's get to our respective rooms and get ready to get outta here!

[The three red-shirted extras are lost among all the other red-shirted extras.]

[YC trips over and is caught by a tractor beam, which rights him]

[YC] Cool!

It would certainly seem that the holiday's over before it begun... I suppose I'm just lucky that I hadn't started to unpack yet...

...I think we're all just about ready down here...you can beam the last of us up now I think...

*Affy hears this report, checks the roster of people who're on board so far, and grins. He turns to the Captain*

I'm sorry sir, but I just *have* to do this.

*Pushes a red suited extra out of the main weapons chair, sits down, and blasts Peeves with a two day snowzar blast. Affy stands up with a giant grin on his face*

Okay, I think I've settled my score with Peeves. Wait, we aren't beaming him up too, are we?

*Worried expression*

I hope not.

*Checkout walks onto the bridge rather stiffly... Looking rather crisp from his tanning expedition*
Keptin, since this is the brand new and supremely funky Esirpretne Z, do I get a proper security detail? *looks hopeful*
I mean, last series, I was just a walk on extra who joined half way through the series... And unless i've been written out, I should have a funky station on the even funkier rail that goes across the bridge..
*Walks to the rail and pulls out a silver, metal sash with the words 'Mr Universe 2345' and drapes it over himself... Promptly falling over due to the extreme weight*
Arrrgghhh!!! I'm peeling... Where's Croz when you need him?

*BB sits at the helm, seeing if his new swivel chair squeaks, and plays with the up/down, back/forward, left/right footrest, head rest and the 20 other adjusting levers on his chair.*

Mrgrunt, I believe it's your call as to where & what you do on the bridge...though some of the things you'll likely think of should perhaps be kept off the bridge...

...like sickbay for example...i wouldn't recommend peeling on the bridge...

...strange not hearing that chair squeak BB...

*sits down in the brand new first officers chair*

Oh my...do they actually *want* the 1st officer to ever want to stand up???
