Since there allready was a thread about known-to-be-gay celebrities, and one thread about we-would-want-them-to-be-gay celebrities, I just thought, why not start a thread about could-be-gay celebrities.
So here you can post you're lists of 'he never said it publicly but I just knooooow he is'-people...

Not sure about this one.

I've played this game in RL, but not about celebrities. I don't generally speculate on the private inclinations of celebrities, but the bloke who catches the bus every morning, the local baker and the waiters at the local eatery are fair game. Not in their presence, of course smiley - winkeye. But that's enough about the dire state of my private life.

As for celebrities - do be careful. I've a horrible feeling this could be a legal minefield, as Mort pointed out on the other thread...

This thread is an interesting idea, though.

In my case it always guys I like, but who turn out to be straight the moment I hint at being interested. Sorry, but it's only been succesful on one occasion, and I've had a number of bad experiences today.

I think this the topic this thread was started for would get us sued, whether or not that should be the case. Ho hum.

How about the 'My love life cant possably get any worse' game, where we each try to out do each other with crappiness, either real or imaginary.

We could do one of the other games suggested on Wish you were Queer. I like the idea of a First Gay Kiss game

Yeah, I like that one - although it wouldn't last that long. What if we also include our best and worst gay/straight kisses as well (if applicable)?

Lots of idea's, but none of them is getting started. Well, here is an idea: I start with answering all the suggestions, and you guys pick out the least boring one for this thread. (My apologies in advance if what I tell isn't any good smiley - blush)

Suggestion n°1: "The 'My love life cant possably get any worse' game, where we each try to out do each other with crappiness, either real or imaginary."
Hm, dangerous one: there is a risk I start whining. But here we go: Things went bad with my ex when he called me a drama-queen for being sad when a friend of mine died, kind of took the magic out of the relationship. But now that I have a new boyfriend, the guy is hitting on me again. On top of that; the new boyfriend is having serious doubts about our relationship, because he doesn't like my clothes...

Suggestion n°2: "First Gay Kiss game"
Kind of a shame-story: It was on the second gay party I went to. Actually, it was just a guy that came right to me, asked if I wanted to dance with him, and after three slows, he just started kissing me... Always thought my first kiss would have been with someone I had fancied a long time before that, but no... smiley - blush

Suggestion n°3: "What if we also include our best and worst gay/straight kisses as well (if applicable)"
Best gay kiss: The first one with the present boyfriend: we both knew the kiss was coming - it had been in the air for days. And when we kissed, it was just something really sweet.
Hm, a good second one is one on a day in december, when he came in early in the morning before going to school, and his face was all cold, and I just woke up so I was still warm from lying in bed, so his lips felt very cool on mine...
Best straight kiss: Never kissed a girl (so not applicable), kissed a straight guy once, though - no, that's not correct, he kissed me - and he was a good kisser smiley - smiley But after that he never stopped talking about girls to me...
Worse gay kiss: Strange story: a guy I had been talking to all night, cause he was kind of depressed. We had been drinking, and things got a little out of hand. We didn't have feelings for eachother, but that kiss just happened. And it's something strange to say, but I could just fèèl the guy was depressed by the way he was kissing me. It wasn't really about a bad kiss, it was more about - dunno - an unusual feeling to go with a kiss...

Suggestion n°4 (back on the 'Wish you were queer'-thread): "first tv crush / first real life crush"
First tv-crush: ummm, probably Jack from Dawson's Creek. (I'm still so mad at the writers of DC for NEVER really giving Jack a real on-screen relationship)
First real-life crush: A guy that's still my best friend. Back at the time of the crush, I was 16, maybe a litle younger, and I really thought the guy was gay too, cause he never ever mentionned girls. But he turned out just to be very shy. He has a girlfriend now for almost a year *disappointment*

Hm, a lot of whining about myself, but I've had all the suggestions now. Up to you guys, is this thread-material or not?

HonestIago

I quite like this idea. I'll go next:
My love-life can't get any worse: me and a guy have been flirting for a while. At Christmas he raised the stakes by talking really sexually. We both get back to Uni, he invites me round to watch a DVD, I (reasonably) presume something different, I try something and he acts all uninterested and he hasn't been in touch since. Actually I've experienced worse, but the deatils of that are in my Weblog.

First gay kiss: My elder brother's best friend, I was 12, he was 13 and we were both just realising we were gay. We were playing a computer game one night when he leans over and touches my hand, we hold hands and then he leans over and snogs me. More details later.
Best gay kiss: Last summer I'd just moved into my own flat and my school had offered me a free computer with all the trimmings, I just had to take it around to the flat myself. I'd been telling a friend and he offered to help me. Since he was the only other openly gay guy in the school I was suspicious. We took the computer around to my flat and I went to get him a drink. I come back into my living room and he's got no shirt on (btw he is *much* better looking than I am) and he comes up, hugs me and we snog the faces off each other. I won't elaborate on what else happened next but the kissing at the end was pretty awesome too
Worst gay kiss: my first kiss, it was all slobbery and gross, our teeth clashed repeatedly. Ugh
I've never kissed a girl so I don't have a best or a worst
First TV crush: I think it was either Jamie Theakston or John Leslie
First Real Life Crush: a guy in my class in Years 7 to 9. I Had a crush on him pretty much as soon as I met him, he's exceptionally good looking and a great bloke as well. We've been friends since we met but recently I told him I had a crush on him. He laughed and said I should have mentioned something when we were 15 as he was questioning his sexuality then
There's the most intimate parts of my life laid bare - enjoy! smiley - cheers

Mikeo the gregarious

My turn - and you think you've got it bad?

Game 1 - "my love life can't get any worse": I have none! smiley - sadface Well, that's not strictly true ... the guys I fancy are either already attached, straight, live too far away or unavailable due to heavy workloads, so I haven't even been able to profess my love for them face-to-face (those I know through the Internet also fancy me, but there's little chance of a fulfilling relationship coming out of any of them due to, well, weirdnesses!). I've only ever had one non-platonic relationship with a man, and that only lasted a single night (see below and my weblog). My only hope is to go (dressed nicely) to LGB events and meet people I haven't met yet who *might* just like me in return: failing that, the meat market clubs, but only if all else fails!

Game 2/3(a) - my first/best gay kiss: I met a guy through one of those profiling websites and we'd agreed to met face-to-face at his hall of residence (see my weblog for the uni in question). After taking me to his room and chatting about ourselves for about 20 minutes, he got up to go to the toilet, but before he left, he went over to me and kissed me gently but passionately on the lips (i.e. not a snog). Although we snogged and made out right after he returned (and quite a lot more besides! smiley - winkeye), this was the kiss of the night that really stood out.

Game 3(b) - my worst gay kiss: I got set up in a gay bar in Manchester (Cruz 101 if you really must know - predominately full of older men) by some mates of mine after a Christmas ball (this is also in my weblog, but some more clarification might be in order). Basically, they got the attention of a rather large, rotund Chinese guy, who on seeing me immediately grabbed my crotch, then after his straight female companion had made off with my glasses, turned me around and stuck his tongue down my throat! smiley - yikes I didn't resist and it wasn't an appalling kiss, but he was not the prettiest boy in the place by a long way, so even if the lady hadn't returned a couple of minutes later to take him away, nothing would have happened as far as I was concerned! (He might have wanted it to go further, as he was very reluctant to leave and described me as "cute" to his straight lady friend.)

Game 3(c/d) - my best/worst straight kiss: none so far (or ever likely to happen!).

Game 4(a) - first TV crush: oooh, tough one, seeing as how I don't generally lust over celebrities .... I think Tim Vincent (ex-presenter of Blue Peter) might have been the first one to cause some stirring, but don't quote me on this!

Game 4(b) - first real-life crush: this is a lot easier for me to answer - my best mate. We sort of both went through a phase of ambiguity about our sexualities between the ages of 15 and 18/19, so we experimented together on a fair number of occasions (although no kissing was involved - see game 2 above for when *that* happened). It later transpired that while I eventually decided I was gay, he was definitely straight, but that didn't stop me actually falling in love with him and having a major crush on him for a few years. When I'd finally got over it, I eventually told him and he actually took it exceptionally well indeed (the fact that he's Dutch and very open-minded about sex sort-of helped) - although the "experimentation" did continue even after that, particularly when he was single! (He's now got a long-term g/f and his work means I don't see much of him now.)

So, now you can have a major laugh at my expense (you really are fans of Schadenfreude, aren't you?). smiley - tongueout

T.B. Falsename ACE: [stercus venio] I have learned from my mistakes, and feel I could repeat them exactly.

ok, here's mine.

1
My ex-fience broke up with me in november. Then her best friend, roo, got back from Uni, for the xmas hols, and I've fancied/loved her for ages. We once had an indiscretion while I was still with my ex. It turns out she still 'likes' me too so we get together a lot over the xmas break and it includes her staying over at my house and all that goes with that. Then she goes back to Uni, and decides she can't cope with seeing me aswell as her boyfriend there, so we decide we need to cool things off. Then I realise that there's this gorgeous guy who I work with occasionally, and I've reverted to how I was when I was 15, not knowing what to do or say to him and trying to workout if he's gay or not.

2
First gay kiss was some bloke in a club when I was a teeny bit drunk. It weren't even a gay club but I was probably acting like a bit of a queen, as I was there with some girl friends.

3
Best gay kiss was another guy in a club, we'd been chatting all night when he leaned over and kissed me.
worst gay kiss was some straight guy at my old college, who'd been a bit of a tit since I came out there. It was at a college party, and I'd been dancing with his girlfriend all night, and she hadn't been keeping her hands to herself smiley - winkeye when he pushed her out the way, said 'do you mind, he's mine!' and then kissed me. It was kinda revolting.

Best straight, probably when I kissed roo for the first time after she got back from uni, as it had been building up for ages.
Worst straight, ohh I dunno there have been so many that were bad.

4
first gay TV crush. hmm, probably Jan Michael Vincent (sp?) from Airwolf or Rex Smith from Street Hawk. Don't ask me about straight, I have no idea, well I do, but I aint admitting to Kylie.

first real life gay crush, was a Guy, also called Mike/Michael, at the college where I did my A-Levels. First real life straight crush was a girl called Jenny Pratt.

smiley - cheers

Must be my turn...

*takes deep breath*

1. I'd been living out in the middle of nowhere for a while because of work, then managed to con my way into a job back in Adelaide. I'd been there 2 days when I ran into my ex-partner, who looks quite like Jude Law. We went to have a drink and catch up - and a week later I moved into his house. So far, so good. The thing is, it became obvious that I wasn't his only partner; there was at least one other guy and one girl involved with him. I had to get out of this mess; I thought about it all day at work and went home ready for a fight. When I got there I found him with a loaded syringe in his hand. Another reason to leave... (But it was all worth it in a way, if only for the look on his face when my grandmother started flirting with him one day. She was quite a girl when she was younger, apparently.)

2. First gay kiss... I would have been 17. He was a complete stranger to me, but we had mutual friends. It was in a bar in Ecuador. A hot Latin on a steamy night, in fact. Not a bad way to start. Ending the night running from the police after the joint was raided added a certain something to the experience. Travel does broaden the mind, among other things.

Best gay kiss... No particular episode stands out, but any involving my most recent partner would qualify. Spine-tingling.

Worst... A bloke in a bar in Sydney, last time I was there. He was drunk, and I was too slow at dodging.

3. Straight kisses - other than the occasional chaste peck on the cheek, not applicable.

4. First TV crush - probably Jeremy Irons in 'Brideshead'. That dates me, I know, but I was still at school at least.

First RL crush - a guy at school who was tall and handsome and a bit dashing and very witty. He rejected me and claimed to be straight. 16 years later I've been proven right, but that's no use since he now lives 1300km away, with his boyfriend.

Right. That's enough dirty laundry from me.

smiley - redwine Ivan.

Sadly we're not qualified to play the 'my love life sucks' game. I could tell you all about how wonderful my love life is instead.

First (gay) kiss - with my girl on 1st december 1998. We go together that day. In the evening we watched Thelma and Louise on TV. I sat on her lap with her arms about me. In the adverts we kissed and it was magical.

No striking momories of het kisses to report. Oh no, wait, one of my brother's friends. He was a horrible kisser, really slobbery and he had terrible skin. Eugh, I wish I hadn't remembered that. That would also cover worst kiss I think.

Best kiss. Um, that's rather hard. I'd probably go for this morning because most recent and best are pretty much the same. smiley - loveblush

You should make Lizardy tell you about her various crushes and early experiences. smiley - yikes

Speckly.

Cupid Stunt

I'll come back to the 'love life sucks' game when it's all a little less fresh in my mind - it doesn't rank as especially horrific when compared to some things, but it's all a bit too recent to go into without blubbing at the moment.

First kiss: On the top of a multi-storey car park! 2nd date with my first boyfriend at 17. We went up there to look at the veiw (not much of one, but in the glinting sunlight, romantic nevertheless) I remember being extremely nervous before the date, but when the moment came to kiss him, all that melted away. It was soft, and gentle, and warm. I still go all gooey thinking about it. smiley - smiley

Best kiss: Was actually with a straight friend. He was a little tipsy (that wasn't why he did it - he said he probably would have done it anyway if he was sober) It was at an end of term disco. We wewre just talking, he mentioned how he respected how I was always myself (I can get a teensy bit eccentric at times...) and leant in and kissed me. Electric. Didn't last long, but great.

Worst kiss: Oh dear... AWFUL! On the dancefloor once I was being chatted up by a guy who's supreme dullness and lack of interesting personality was matched only by the badness of his teeth... He wouldn't relent, and I ended up kissing him (it was preferable to speaking to him, but only just) It was like being molested with a sink plunger. Apparently he developed a huge crush on me for months afterwards, and bordeline stalked me for a while... (There, have that as installment one of my 'love life sucks' pile - one stalker! more detauils to follow)

Never kissed a girl!

First real life crush: My best freind when I was 10! He had cute curly ginger hair! I just remember thinking about how I would rather have him than a girlfriend, and that's when the penny dropped...

First TV crush: Jonathan Kerrigan as Staff Nurse Sam Colloby in Casualty. I would have been about 12/13. I saw him and was just like "WOW!" and then it turned out he was playing a gay character. I was a regular veiwer before, but after...
