A few from the classical music world - although I assure you this isn't an attempt to bring culture to this discussion!

i have just realised the error of my ways. After playing this goddamned game, nay, co-inventing it, I have not suplicated myself before myGod. Our Francis who art in heaven, let me name -
Frankie Howerd
Forgotton, but not forsaken.
And in much the same spirit, let me name
Brian Epstein
Without whom...
I don't think there's anyone I could add to this illustrious company. So, to them . To him

Actually, it's Chris Smith MP, although you're right about him being involved in the Arts - I think he was Minister for Culture and Heritage or something like that. Although may I also tentatively add: -
Ron Davies MP
if only for the notorious way that he was outed? (I apologise if this proposal insults anyone in here, but he was the only so-far unlisted MP I could think of!)

Hmmmm .... just finishing off the composers here (and revigorating this topic!).
Sir Michael Tippett
Sir Peter Maxwell Davies (he's still alive, would you believe?!)
Leonard (Lenny) Bernstein (he isn't, unfortunately)
But then again, there may be more - just can't think of them at the moment ....
