h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Hey, this is Me, Myself, and I posting under Big Evil Dan's name. As you may or may not know, I am the 2nd High Priest of Weekendism. I've never posted before because my modem is 14.4k and H2G2 would take a LONG time to load up.

Anyways, I'm just here to remind each of you to avoid work at all cost! Thou shalt do a half-assed job for whatever ye do. It's the Weekendism way.

One last thing, despite what Dan has told you, I'm really the main High priest. He'll probably contradict this, but it's true.

Don't forget to slack off at least 5 times a day!

I do SO love it when religions agree! I love it even MORE that i found the only 3 in the WORLD that revere idleness, drunkenness, AND Brownies!

i've got it made. maybe we should all pool our funds and buy a carribean island just so we can make h2g2 a REAL community! LOL!

You know, Zax. I've been wondering if there are any other churches on h2g2 we've been missing. Your name just isn't long enough.

LOL! and to think, when i first signed up, my name was just plain old Zax*! well, you know, ya gotta have goals in life- mine just happens to be being the most pan-denominational Angel out there! () of course, i've got a few of you hard on my heels!

I was actually thinking of starting my own religion... just to make it that much longer, ya know? something that goes with brownies and alcohol...CotT Porcelain? or maybe the church of the True Teddy Bear? how about CotT Binky? CotT Blankey?

hm. this takes effort.... i beleive that's against one of my religions.... hehehehehe!

If you do found a religion (and I'm okay with that), stay away from the "Church of the True.." pattern. It's so...unoriginal. Did I call it "Church of the True Weekend"? No. (Although the fact that it is shorter probably helped too. )

How about 'mosque of the false ice cream'?

Actually, what about a religion for people who have founded h2g2 churches? It's starting to become a big enough group that it just might work. Of course you would have to found it if you wanted to be in it, Zax.

and it's not gonna be THAT much more to add... just one to go across the top, perhaps?

You could make one for CoW, but I've never bothered making a list of the members. You'd have to do that, too. If you did make one, I'd put it on my page and the weekendism page, though.


Interesting side note: As if my BED acronym wasn't appropriate enough, our church is named after the cow; perhaps one of the lazyiest mammals on earth. And I didn't plan that, either.
