Greetings, brothers and sisters! If you wish to join the Church Of Weekendism, you may do so here.

Is it OK if I join in spite of it being a weekend?

So long as you both pledge to do as little work as possible, you may join the Church.

Me never does any work any day of the week... ~grin~.. me thinks work is... well... sounds just to much like a naughty four letter word to me... so me is not sure if me is eligible as me doesn;t work any day... let alone weekends...

Greebo, you not only may join, but you are a fine example of what Weekendists should strive for. Mike, you are welcome as well (but keep the ACEing to a minimum).

Me would thankyou Dan... ~grin~.. but me just can't be bothered...

I would have thanked you earlier but I was waiting for someone else to switch my machine on!
Today, I intend to drink beer whilst watching England win the Grand Slam yet again!

Having read your article, I truly feel that I have been a Weekendist all my life without even realising it. I have long considered "work" to be the most obscene four-letter word in the English language, and I hope you'll accept my application for Church membership - if it's not too much trouble, of course.

At last I have found my true spiritual home! Since stumbling across this church, I have been inspired to give up my job and devote my life to Weekendism. When do I start?

Mike A (snowblind) Posted Apr 2, 2000
Tomorrow.
To Eddie with any work you have! Devote all your time to the worship of the weekend! And then sleep...

Not necessarily in that order, Mike. I would bless those that have just joined us, but it's far too much work for a Sunday.

I was wrong about England winning the Grand Slam but we still won the championship. Swing Low Sweet Chariot etc etc.

i hate to be a bother but i was wondering if it wasn't too much trouble if i could possibly join? i must admit to working at listening to others but that is really more fun for me than work so i don't think it would be a sin or anything like that
