Christian Rock Should NOT Be Send To The Post Room 101... :-p

The song I quoted was 'Secret of the Crossroads Devil' by Gaia Consort, which is only a religious song in the sense that it displays a Pagan outlook on the world. The moral of the song is that if you want to get something done with your life, you're going to have to do it yourself, because the Devil doesn't make deals with people (that's the secret mentioned in the title). The chorus goes (partially)
If you want to read the mystic story written in your future
You'd better start to write it now
Anyway, I drift. Where was I? Oh yes.
In my experience, Christian Rock (mostly what I've overheard from housemates and friends) is somewhere on the musical scale with S Club Juniors... painful. It's acceptable in tightly-controlled environments, but when people record it and then play it where I can hear it... no no no no no. Yes it's selfish, I know it's selfish, but then the whole Room 101 thing is personal dislikes anyway.

In, definitely in.
There are bands whose members belong to a certain religion. They make extremely good music. By not singing about their religion.
Keep it to yourselves, fellas! (and fella-esses!)
I once subscribed to a mailing list for a band where the lead singer was a Christian, every now and then the Godbotherers would invade the thread looking for religious significance in every single lyric. They were politely told to go away. My, you should've seen the flame wars!

Yes, I know that, and I'm sure the authors of the song know that too. It's a handy image in this particular song though - and the song itself only actually mentions the Devil once. It's the turning point in the song's story though, hence why it made it into the title.

I'm convinced _now_...
That by itself is a good reason enough to put Christian Rock into the Post Room 101...
So, in case there is some confusion, my vote is _now_:
"Put Christian Rock into Room 101!!!!"...

... The first two years have been rather interesting and definitely _not_ boring... I'm planning to make the third one as productive as possible... Lots of potential contributions for <./>ThePost</.> and the Edited Guide are planned already for the coming months...
So, yep, I should be around for quite a while...
