You absolutely, completely and utterly, *must* sing along at a concert! I find that the PA system is usually enough to drown everyone else's singing out anyway, and you have the compulsory concert bit where the singer invites the audience to sing.

STAYS OUT! STAYS OUT! STAYS OUT!

Also there was the drunk guy who grabed the spare mic and sang along to one of my songs (obviously he didn't know the words since it was one I hadn' played before) distracting me, and then at the end likening the song to extrement.

Singers alongers should go in

No concert I have ever been to has a 'compulsory bit where the audience were invited to sing'. And even if they were, I can think of a few dozen people who I'd rather hear singing along than ReddyFreddy.

I can appreciate the point about singing along at concerts. And I will be quite prepared to turn the key on those who do the walkman thing. But I'm afraid I absolutely defend my right, in the privacy of my own home or, more importantly, car, to sing loudly, out of tune and with total disregard for lyrical correctitude to radios and CDs.

Stays *out*

Oh, in your own privacy is fine. It's people who subject it on me that I want to go in.

Probably best if I don't offer you a lift anywhere then...

There is no escape... You're trapped... Let's listen to [insert name of band which you find particularly irritatring].

Did I mention that I never listen to lyrics anyway, so have no idea what the words are?
