*out of a space time rift pops a Red Dog. He takes his dial-a-gun out of its holster but the Cat Borg make no hostile move in his direction*

*he dives for cover in a nearby alcove. In a corner he can see the Cat Borg bending over a prostrate figure he recognises connecting assimilation equipment*

ARLECHINNO !!!

*he hears the rift open again behind him *

*flops down out of the rift, woken up through the change*

Ouch

*opens cupboard*

*gets out a paracetamol and a glass of water, and takes it*

Ooh dear...*looks around*

*opens cupboard*

Now which sci fi weapon will I choose...

*opens cupboard*

*brings out a green lightsabre*

*comes flying out of rift, knocking down RD*

hmm... lightsabers, is it?

*pulls out orange lightsaber*

now, i have to wonder, whose side am i on?

*Falls out of the rift onto sea.*

Sea, you're always there for me, aren't you?

*Notices the light sabres. Pulls out his closest facsimile: his ebony cane with the silver wolf's head handle. Pushes the left eye of the wolf and the ebony part of the cane turns a glowing red.*

Well, it's more of a red-hot poker than a light sabre, but it will have to do. It's only a clone of GL's original cane and it doesn't work quite as well.

Is the red colour telling, BBW?

I think this may be a joint thing

*snickers at darth BBW*

yeah, i can't decide what's worse, dogs or borg cats...

*stumbles out of rift*

*stumbles in Arl's general direction*

*lands on red dog*

*unclips his purple sabre*

*Barely resist the urge to set fire to sea's clothes with his "light" sabre. With an effort, he turns to look at the Cat Borg.*

So, anyone know the fatal weakness of a Cat Borg?

*stumbles up to nearest Cat-borg*

24 of 42 reporting for assimilation...

*tries to hide laughter*

i am SO calling you Darth BBW from now on...

*ponders weaknesses of cat borg*

Maybe one of you dogs should volunteer to be assimilated and then scare them all away

*is taken to an assimilation table by a slighty recognizable cat-borg*

*Becomes rather peeved, and heaves himself at the borg surrounding Apollo, his katanas bouncing from one nicely shielded area to the next*

Ah, hell.

*Mystrunner draws in a deep breath, sips a small potion from his belt, and spray an enourmous gout of flame, frying the borg*

Resistance is futile... I will be assimilated...

Well, now that's odd...

*Looks at Borg drones, that, if they had glands, would now be enraged.*

*Zips away and stands by Red Dog, preping his crossbow.*
