Sitting, drinking tea...
You can find a nurse or doctor around here somewhere if you look hard enough

* Looks hard enough.
Hello! I would like to hire a medic-in-residence for the Hitchhiker's Hotel (A2411191).
You see, we have a swimming pool, but not a lifeguard, and many of the guests have potentially dangerous pets: a polar bear, a rhinocerous, a dragon, all sorts. Plus, our repairman has often got to use hazardous power tools, so the potential for injury is overwhelming.
If you could provide a full-time medic, that would be preferable, but I understand your staffing limits, and I believe we could cope with a part-time medic just fine.
Thank you very much.

*has a look* Heehee, you have Herms and Honditions...
Well, I'll see if Feuille fancies it, since I'm already a Medic in several places, but if not, I'll do it - you'll get a full-time Medic either way
Now, if I take the job, I'll require an office and a good supply of hot chocolate and Hobnobs, but Feuille will have different conditions... I won't be surprised if she asks for live Hornblower streaming 24 hours a day. Anyway, I'll draw her attention to it Watch this space...

Thanks awfully. I'm sure we can arrange an office, hot chocolate etcetera; we have a rather expansive Hotel full of disused rooms, and have recently invested in an Everything We Need Machine... but don't tell anybody else or they'll all want one.

I'd love to! Where should I go to sign up?
And hey, I'm not THAT obsessed with Hornblower...watching 8 hours of it in a day isn't THAT bad...

hello there! i was wondering if there was anyone who would fancy being the medic in residence type person for the h2g2 League of Super Powers, U1654545.
if so then you gain full member rights, such as a superhero alter-ego, complete with profile, and an official League position.
eagerly yours, Galigan/Spectre (League Founder)

*rubs arm*
whats that?
someone needs a medic!
depends what the pay is like
and how serious a medic you need, I mean is this a ductape and jellybean type of medic or a bandage and tlc type of medic,
or a iodene and sticky plaster type of medic?

Galigan Posted Oct 3, 2005
well it depends. probably some silly stuff but there could be a bit more serious stuff too. maybe if you supply us with one of those hologram medics i've heard about we can deal with it ourselves. of course i could be talking out of my *rse right now. yes probably.
