The Entries referenced from this page were all selected for the UnderGuide by the votes of the Miners, approved by the UG Editors, but then rejected by the Powers¹. For a variety of reasons, it was decided that the BBC's interests could be harmed by their appearance on the Front Page, or even on the site at all.

No judgement on these decisions is intended here. A brief note is given alongside the link in cases where it's considered that this may be helpful to the reader. In most cases the exclusion is because of content which is considered to have the potential to give offence to readers. In some cases, the grounds for exclusion are more benign : copyright issues in the case of Douglas Adams's Entry, product promotion in the case of Jodan's and banality in the case of Hobbes's.

The titles generally give a clear hint as to the nature of the content.
