couple questions, where are the towers on the map? where is the rec room and indeed the rest of the rooms? and I only see one elevator shaft anywere, not 4 for the towers

[OOC] You aren't blind, I've got false memories. There is not a marked rec room on the CLI map, however there are two rooms near the security room that are unmarked. Perhaps one of these is the rec room. I don't see the elevators or the towers, either, I assume that they were added since the map was made. I think Affy was trying to make the best of a situation where nobody seemed to be looking at the map, so he created extra space to accomadate the action that was taking place.

Actually, the map of CLI is only the lower floor of the main part of the primary building in our complex. For instance, it doesn't show the Dungeon levels below, even though they clearly existed before the map does (if it ever comes back, check my first post in the "Minerva Makeover" conversation). However, the towers were added on later as a way to promote my own ideas for CLI's apparent all-encompassing regime of scientific knowledge. The towers and dungeons are there to accomodate the Frankenstienish experiments, and are presumably where other minor lab locations are. The towers are in the four corners of this building, even though the building isn't technically a rectangle.

Those are constantly changing as the lab grows and develops to accomodate newer and better technologies, while still storing the older ones. Sorry. Just give yourself about thirteen floors to the top of the tower for now, I guess.

Oh, I'll have some fun. For the time being, Level 7 can be one of my many unnecessary references to Zork, and it will bear an uncanny resemblance to the Asylum from Zork Nemesis. In other words, this is where we study dead stuff, and mental conditions (a branch of our medicine department).

Don't know why not. After all, unless you count the electrode-animation chambers with the living dismembered body parts, the electrical synapses from the security pad, the decapitation machine, and the "looking-glass" chair, there's nothing dangerous there at all. Now, for danger, go to pretty much any other location (except for the Conservatory, that only has the danger of drowning in the boiler room's basement.)
