h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

1) Can anyone here design a float?

2) Who would like to be on the float?

3) What are the colours of all the weasels again?

If someone can come up with a design (or many people make little things and someone decide what shape it will be and.. well... discussion of the float is what this thread is about, so some of the questions/answers will hopefully avail themselves as the thread progresses) I will put a blurb about our float on the page (with whatever links become available). In a whole new section, even!

Though this page hangs off my homepage, I do -not- feel that I 'own' it. As far as I'm concerned this page belongs to everyone involved in the story from Chapter one, so please feel free to contribute!

Surely we have at least one artist among us who is as well versed in graphical art as in textual? We need a float!

I have the artisitic skills of a drunken brick that has been regurgitated by a narcoleptic gold fish.
So, what is this about again? I'd click the link but I am lazy.

h2g2 is having a parade.

I'd help, but I'm a terrible artist. The most I can do is:

1) Upload some pre-existing pictures of stuff that is similar to our story.

2)Tell you that, to the best of my recollection, the colors of the weasels are mauve (obviously), green, puce, and orange. I'm probably forgetting something.

3) Say that, while I don't know how else to help, I'd love to be on the float.

Other than that, it might take a while for me to make a really good picture. I'm not good at that kind of thing, unfortunately.

I dunno...... I always thought that the weasles where was green, but I don't know it that's just a product of my sometimes twisted imagination..

Actually the weasles started out to be mauve. The green ones came in from another dimension when the rifts started floating about. I'm pretty sure someone mentioned at least one teal model, but I could be wrong.

And we still need a float. Do you think I should start a new thread for 'who wants to be on the float' ?
