The Whole Wheat and nothing but the Wheat Issue

I have seen the promised land... and it exists only in a postcard painting...

You can't overcome decades of propaganda with... your own propaganda. The truth doesn't enter into it.

You have to be subtle and use the enemy's propaganda with a twist.
You can't just waltz into a country and say, 'stop right this minute. Everything you believe is wrong, and everything I believe is right',
without distributing tons of money in the right places. Which usually
means the skillful liars from the deposed administration... and who's going to take their word for anything, now?

A truly successful occupational effort of a 'hearts and minds' sort would have
begun with making sure the toilets could flush and the hospitals were regarded as a
nice thing to have functioning at full capacity. Too late now.

As for all that fear and loathing about the planes that played demolition derby with a skyscraper... and the commission that is investigating who
knew what, when and then didn't do diddley, when are they going to interview the airport security people who didn't do their jobs or the airport
administrators who didn't think that security mattered enough to pay them well and show them a little respect, instead
of treating them as a 'necessary evil'?

So, it's all about propaganda.
