h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

*the ball of magic hits a wall close to the dark figure momenterally illuminating the room in detail*

*The rooms temporary light give Sarah a better idea where to attack. She runs at the figure, hoping that she has a small chance. She swirves to the side and slashs at where she thinks the figures side is.*

*Ecg starts working on making a block of ice.*

*sarah's blade cuts through some sort of fabric before she gets pushed away by a magic barrier*

*noticing the barrier repel Sarah's attack Ecg tries to push his block of ice into it unsure what will happen*

*Sarah slide a bit after hitting the barrier. She stands out of the way of Ecg's block of ice, and waits to see what will happen.*

*the ice hits the shield and bursts into a flurry of snow around the figures feet is a large puddle*

"Hmm, I think we may need to rethink our stragey." *She comments as the snow settles. Srarh looks over at Ecg, to see if he has an thoughts, but keeps a watchful eye on the figuer.*

[Ecg]: ~Do you see any gaps in the barrier?~

*He lobs a fireball at it to try and watch for any telltale signs*

*Watchs the fireball explode on the barrier.*
"Hmm, I don't right...wait, was that one there?"
*She point up to the upper right of the barrier, were the fireball seemed to exploded inward instead of out.*

[Ecg]: *He winces an eye shut to gaze harder with the other one*

~Don't know. Maybe if you distract them for a bit I can try filling it with water.~

*He screws up his face a little. It could be for any of a number of reasons, but the idea of trying to flood someone out just sounds odd.*

*Sarah had a small smile at the thought of Ecg's water plan.*
"Ok I'll see what I can do."
*She 'molds' her staff out of its current spear like shape, into a morning star type weapon, with a slitly longer then normal chain. She stepped closer to the figuer, swinging the star infront of her self, then towards the figuer, trying to hit him.*

[Ecg]: ~Heh heh hehheh~
*He clears his mind and forces it to be more like a dowsing rod. Not there... not there... and*

*Water seeps up out of the ground and swirls around his hand in a stream not quite setting on anything. He strains a little and guides the path of it towards what he hopes is a gap in the barrier. He amplifies the stream some and waits.*

*The star bounces, harmlesly, off the barrier a few times. She swings it again, harder, hitting the barrier repeatedly. While doing this she turns to watch the water, out of the corner of her eye.*

*Ecg concentrates harder puts his focus on guiding the flow towards that suspicious point. He hopes that it's a gap.*

*water goes up to the figures knees before he moves and it all dissaperes he lunges for sarah with a sharp many bladed dagger thing*

F: Parlor tricks children... parlor tricks didn't your tutors ever teach you better?

*Ecg starts shivering and snowflakes begin to fall.*

Oh y-yyeah?
*chatters*

F: oh yes...

*The figuers dagger apperes to stab into Sarah, but the she seems to shimmer and disapate.*

"Oh, we have been show match better things."
*Sarah smiles as she seems to melt out of the shadows off to the side and langes with her staff at the imbiguous(sp?) point in the figuers barrier.*

*the staff hits the barrier with a resounding crack... odd*
