S: *nervous laughter* ah yes sir i see what you er.... mean, er..... I can give you this
*hands Ecg a map of the inner compound*

*servant runs off as quickly as possible*

*A shock look crosses her face as she falls to one knee and winces. Looking back at the Golum, she sees Modsil lunge at it.* "NO! Modsil, stop!" *Sarah yell as she leaps back to her feet and fombles in her bag, for her staff.*

[Ecg]: *With one eye dilated a bit more than the other as though insane*

I thank you.

Huahahahaha.

*Wanders his way to what seems like a recruitment area. He leans against a wall in the midst of some younger mages arguing and chooses not to say anything*

*Yawns to himself*

*the golem swipes at the familiar before bending down to pick up the stricken sarah*

YM: hey who's the new guy?
YM2: probably just some conscript, ignore him
ym: dosn't look like a conscript but never mind...

*Electricity flares up and down Ecg's right arm like he was consciously trying to make as small a spell as he could. It fizzles out but burns a piece the map he was given*

(thinks) : Great.

*He continues watching*

*Modsil falls to the ground, stuned. Sarah strugles to get away from the golem.* "Let go!"

*She trys to get her staff...with very little luck, so she glares around for the drow. All the while trying to think of some way out of all of this.*

"There Drow, you appear to have got what you wanted." *She almost snarls out of fustrastion and anger.*

Drow: what i wanted?
but you can't possibly comprehend what it is that i wanted little girl,
was it not you who made so foolish a challenge?
indeed i have better things to do than play with children, like taking over that nice little city of yours... perhaps I'll keep a building standing in honor of the foolish child
*a solider runs up*

S: Sir we've reports from the men, all are armed and preparations are complete,

Drow: Excellent well i see no reason to stay around here any longer, put her down somewhere she can't do any... harm to herself we must be off.

*the golem puts sarah down on top of a three story building and begins towards the gate*

*a bell rings*

Ym: come on, practice time is over, we need to move

ym2: well.... i suppose we better, not that they need us with the capitans around

ym: I'm sure we'll get a look in

*ecg shoulders his halberd*

"You want take over the city...bloody drow." *She murmers under her breath.*

*She starts to pace around the edge of the building, trying to find a way down, but stops as she notices the gathering forces below her.*
'Oh dear, this is worse then we thought.'

*Sarah gives up trying to find an easy way down and starts to find foot holds to climb down, or at lest to a landing.*

*there is the sound of a woman's scream from deep within the compound*

*Sarah manages to get part of the way down the tower, when she hears a scream, very faint but it was there.* ~Hmm that doesn't sound good. I need to get down from here, fast and find out who that was.~ *She continues to climb down. After a hour, she finally reaches the ground.*

*troops are too busy getting ready to notice sarah*

*She ducks in behind the edge of the build and pulls the hood of her cloak up over her head. Stepping on to the road and heading around the troops, pulling her cloak around herself.* ~Now lest see if I can find the person who was screaming or an allay at lest.~

*the main building is surrounded on three sides by shorter less impressive buildings but they offer some cover none the less, there are some small windows running along the side of the building but these are likely to be covered by bars, there is no back door*

*Sarah walks to the side of one of the side buildings. ~Well it appears I'll have to try and enter in the frount way...this is going take a lot of work for them not to see me.~ *With that she wraps herself in a spell that will make all who look at her think she is the same as them. She takes a deep breath and walks out and towards the front of the main building.

*no-one notices*

*She continues on to the door and nods to the gaurds, who wave her on before returing there gaze outward.* ~Ok, I'm in...now where to go?~ *Sarah ponders as she walks there the dimly lighted hall, in search of a door.*

*As she walks further down the hall, she catchs a hint of someone moving not far off.* ~I wonder?~ *She walks through a lone light ray and to a lonly looking door, a noise issues from the other side.* ~Ok, only one way to know.~ *She holds ready as she turns the knob on the door and opens the door.*

*a small and very bedraggled crow flutters next to thorn, it looks up at him curiously and then rearranges a feather, to the general effect that it still looks as though its been dragged backwards through some hedge or other*

Crow: Caw...
