h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

*Sarah jumps back at the cracking sound, and surpresses a smile. She swings at the spot again.*

"Ecg! I think I've got something here..."

[Ecg]: "Y-yyeah?"

*He's forcing the room to get colder but it's taking a bit of a toll on him.*

*This hit didn't have as much of an effect. Sarah spun away, looking over at Ecg.*

"Are you ok?" *Worry in her voice.* "You went some help?"

[Ecg]: "Ll-Let's see if I can freeze it!"

He hurls some cracked icecicles that break off from the main pile growing at his feet at the barrier.

"Yeah, I'm alright. NnNever better!"

*Alicia stirs slightly and the aria around Ecg starts to get slightly warmer in a warm bath sort of way rather than a firey pit sort of way...*

[Ecg]: "Hmm. Maybe I ought to try a different approach."

"Ya, that didn't seem to work. Not that my approach is doing much better."

*She eyes the barrier.*

[Ecg]: "I wonder where it's getting the energy from. If there's a stone or something or it was just an incantation."

*He scratches his chin.*

"Not like that'll help now. Or... we could just try walking through it."

*alicia stirs slightly and mutters something about a hidden crystal*

*Ecg walks into it and gets rejected by the barrier.*
"Ow. Nope, that's not it."

"Hmm, Ya I'd be surprised if we could walk through...That would be almost to easy."

*Glances around the room.*

"Theres still a few dark corners in here, think any of them might hold a power supply for it?"

*Trys to see in to the darkness in the closes corner.*

[Ecg]: *He lets electricity crackle in his palm then tries to shape it into a ball*

"Is that better?"

"Ya, a bit."

*Moves forward to forther inspected the area. A small glimmer up further on the wall catches her atention.*

"Could you come a bit closer with that...I think I might have found something."

[Ecg]: "Okay."
*Does so*

"Thank you."

*Take a closer look in the better light. It appears to be a fragment of crystal sticking out of the wall*

"Hmm, thats odd."

[Ecg]: (A bit puzzled) : "Do you want me to throw a splatsch of lava on it?"

"Hmm."
*Takes a closer look.*

"Can't do any harm to...It might be what we were looking for."

[Ecg]: "Alright, but I'll have to recharge after."
*He throws a lavaglob towards it.*

*the figure screams in rage*
How dare you!
ha! you think that will help i can beat you children without the shield
*the figure raises his hands and the floor starts to shake violently*

*Sarah spins around*

"Hmm this doesnt look good...How long do you have to recharge for?"

*Looks over shoulder at Ecg.*
