h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

*the walls of the former outpost have been altered to fit the Dark Alliance's wants...there are spikes protruding out from the walls, and the towers are immensely high. The place reeks of evil.*

*the drow mage-warrior woman, Mistress Delyx Ho'ran Shiar-Li, stands on the walls looking south*

*she holds in her hand the battered sword that Elandra Pawel left behind*

*if it were a person, it would have been described as "tortured"; they have burnt it, hammered it, dipped it in acid, repaired it and done it all over again*

*it looks like a dull, ordinary sword*

*suddenly it starts to vibrate violently, and a glow starts to appear on the blade, white and bright*

*the other drow and orcs look away, crying out in alarm, but Mistress Shiar-Li watches it with a growing smirk of satisfaction*

*the glow sputters, then brightens to an eye-hurting level for a 'human', let alone a drow, but she carries on watching*

[Shiar-Li] That is right, warriorling, I have your sword now. It is under MY CONTROL! *she raises it and the glow suddenly changes, from a bright pure white to red, a blood-red yet luminous red that bathes the outpost and the valley surrounding it in an eerie, evil glow*

[Shiar-Li] IMARDIN SHALL FALL! ELANDRA PAWEL, YOU SHALL FEEL YOUR OWN BLADE AND LOOK UPON THE DEATH OF YOUR PEOPLE, AND DESPAIR!

[Shair-Li] TO THE DEATH OF IMARDIN!

*everyone cheers and clangs their swords on their shields, as the glow pulsates in that same sickening red...the valley looks bathed in blood and violence, and the drow cheer on*

* a magpie swoops down and lands before Shiar-Li*

*a note is attached*

"The magicians are in disorder, there is a threat within. strike when ready. your faithful spy"

*takes the note from the bird*

[Shiar-Li] So at last the time to strike is at hand... ready the troups...

*a horn is sounded and in a matter of moments the courtyard is packed with fully armed troups some holding standerds and blowing warhorns*
*shiar li looks over the army and smiles coldly*

*the gates of the outpost are thrown open and the army slowly walks out of the outpost, its stregnth in numbers uncountable and its will is unstopable*

*creatures of every kind spill out into the skies too and others that crawl and slither on the ground*

*Arc Unagi climbs the wall, his axe there on his back and his sword at his hip, not to get let out, but to try and get in*
