*the Dark Alliance has...customized the entrance to the former outpost to make it very secure, extremely strong and also very foreboding-looking. There are sharp metal spikes and water traps approaching the gate on the south side - where the Magicians would be coming from. Little is known about the North side of the Dark outpost, but it can be assumed that they have built a separate gate for their own troops to enter.*

*surveys the gate from as far away as he can, and casts a spell of illusion to change his skin black, so as to avoid being seen in the night. From there, he moves on, keeping an eye out for patrolling guards and/or any sorts of traps set by the Dark Alliance*

*There are 5 orcs lining the wall near them, there foul stench can be smelt from many yards away.*


*A jabberwocky flies low swooping near the outpost, and gains altitude.*


*All unaware to Draaks presence.*

*A lone orc comes running in at top speed. It shouts something in orcish, and the massive gates open up.*


*The orc enters and the gates close.*

*doesn't understand the orcish language, but has an idea. He waits for another orc to come passing by, ready to sprint after it when the time comes*

*continues surveying the horizon for any more soldiers of the Dark Alliance*

~~~High Lord, I havn't been able to penetrate the gate as of yet, but, as for their defences, I'm able to see a few jabberwockies and about 5 orcs on the wall itself. Aside from a lone orc, I havn't seen anything enter or leave the outpost. Should I continue inside the gates? I believe that, if I can move fast enough, I might be able to get inside the next time the gates open up. ~~~

~~~Nay, it's too much of a risk, come back and report to the council what's been happening.~~~


*A great number of movement can be heard from the Outpost, metal clanging, feet walking.*

*hears the noises from within the Outpost*

~~~M'lord, something's going on... movement inside the outpost, not far from the gates. I'll stay to see what it is, then report directly back to the guild.~~~

*gets as low to the ground as he can, listening intently to the group behind the gates*

*The noises quiet as a voice speaks up...it seems in the tounge of drow.*

*Listens intently, trying to take the words down to memory*

~~~M'lord, there seem to be Drow here...for my own safety, I'm leaving. I'll repeat what I heard here when I have returned.~~~

*Hastily makes his way back to the Guild, being as careful as possible not to leave any traces of his being there, or setting off any traps as he leaves.*

*The talking stops. With many loud clanging noises of steel against steel.*


*The massive black gates open up out comes many orcs, two drow on horses carrying massive staffs. The orcs start onto the main road. It may take a days travel to get where they are heading.*

*40 orcs appear huffing and puffing returning. The gates open up and they walk in a few of them limping.*


*Shouting can be heard in the orcish language.*


[Orcish]What do you mean you lost! There were 3000 strong orcs with the two magicians!!!!!

*the hawk swoops and sores over the front gate looking inside the outpost*

*a dragon, large and dark and looming, with a drow clad in black leather seated on its back, lifts out of the outpost's inner courtyard and eyes the hawk*

*it snorts, and fire shoots out of the beast's nostrils...the hawk is enveloped in flame and burnt to a crisp*

*the dragon turns in the air and lands back in the outpost*

*before the hawk was killed it saw in the inner courtyard of the overtaken outpost a group of dragons like the one that attacks it: the hawk counts ten, maybe twelve, with orcs and drow prepping them for flight and armouring them for battle, before being killed*

*the dragons rise out of the outpost - ten of them, 4 a dark red, 5 black, and one golden coloured one, the largest and obviously dominant*

*seated on each one are two Drow - one holding the massive reigns of the dragon, and the other holding a wooden staff*

*they start the flight to Imardin*

*a small fog seems to descend upon Yurick front gate*

*its only as the fog gets closer the guards can tell that it is hundreds upon thousands of wasps, beetles, hornets and other simalar things.. inside all of them are creatures of various kinds*

*the guards start ringing the alarm but it is too late the animals seem to be moving faster than they should be able and are in through the agtes before they can shut them*

*the orcs on the walls are stung to death by the wasps*

*the drow start to organise themselves - having become careless and overconfident, not expecting a sudden attack that their spies hadn't uncovered - and spells start to rain down on the animals. Groups of them are brought down, but they seem to keep on coming*

*the hornets and wasps sweep down harrasing the drow then the wild cats are up next ripping with teeth and claws*

*the wolves howl a terrible unearthly howl and then they too pounch*

*out of the midst of the animals flys flaming arrows away from the animals at some nearby orcs*
