*turns and runs back to the gate*

*lands in the midsts of the orcs and starts hacking and slashing*

I CAN'T MAKE IT!!!

*Lumien ducks and rolls as a series of orc arrows hit the tree behind where her torso once was.*

*quoth lands on her sholder*
dont fly between arrows stuped thing!

*holds her sword ready to fight any orcs that get too close*

*Shaylar makes a smaller tornado that envelopes Lumien and lifts her off her feet and lifts her over the outpost walls*

*cleaves another orc in two, then summons a man sized earth golem elemental next to him*

Smash orcs golem

*The stone creature groans in acknowledgement, then starts smashing orcs*

*Sinks to her knees*

I can't do anymore

*Passes out from fatigue*

*Having recovered from an unexpected trip over the outpost wall, Lumien runs to Lady Shaylar's side.*

Oh no. Lady Shaylar! MEDIC!!!

*Two medics come over from tending to the wounded archers.*

Get her into the Healing Hall. Now!

*They oblige. Lumien runs to the wall, where she's hoping she still has enough strength to do some good.*

Guard gate golem

*It grunts and swings with its massive arms, sending orcs flying*

*Akiro leaps to the walls and chuckles, stabbing down at the attacking orcs*

*The charms explode, releasing four spells*

*Pickling Charm: orcs nearest this charm have all the liquids evaporated out of their bodies, causing them to fall into piles of dust*

*Fire Ball Charm: this cahrm spits nine boling-ball sized spheres of fire that each explode, torching orc troops*

*Rotting Stench Spell: a gasious cloud poisons local beasties, including orcs*

*Sugar Coating Spell: whoever or whatever touched this charm is frozen in a giant sugar crystal 6 inches thick*

*A shield appears around Craxus and Lycan, as 50 arrows from the walls and towers fly toward the orcs. After the barrage, Lumien can be seen colapsing on the wall.*

*five orcs are blasted with the pickling charm, and at least two dozen by the fireball charm. the rotting stench spell sends four or five orcs down to the ground, gagging...the sugar coating spell hits only one orc which is suddenly covered in the coating.*

*Meanwhile, the 2nd Drow and Elandra start to fight*

*the drow lunges forward with his sword, dancing to the left out of Elandra's reach, and she kicks his sword away from her*

*Elandra slashes with both her longswords at him but he brings his sword to bear and they strike with a dramatic clash*

[Drow 2] Impressive, for a human...but you are no match.

[Elandra] I've killed more powerful beasts than you!

*the Drow glowers and narrows his eyes, lifts a hand and points it at her*

*a bolt of faintly blueish lightning leaps out of his hand and towards Elandra, she leaps forward and rolls, it not even coming close to touching her, and she ends up within arm's reach of the Drow*

*he steps backwards and there is a slight /whoosh/ing noise, and a large lion appears behind the Drow*

*the lion roars and tears into the drow's back, the dark magician whirls and blasts the lion aside with a spell of kinetic energy*

*whilst his attention is diverted Elandra sweeps her legs against his, and jumps lithely out of the way before he can retaliate, resheathing one sword*

[Drow 2] *in pain because of the wound the lion caused to his back* Magician!

*Elandra starts to reach for the brightly glowing amulet hanging around her neck with her empty hand, but with a spell the Drow immobilises it (her hand)*

*coalesces and stands before the other Drow before blasting him well and truly with a fire spell*

*the Drow that is hit with the fire spell grunts and casts a quick spell over himself, the fire hardens and falls to the ground as mud*

*he is still charred slightly though*

*meanwhile Elandra manages to move her immobilised hand by twisting it round away from the direction of the magic resistance, and reaches above and behind her back*

*she brings her hand back, seemingly empty*

*drow 2 looks suspiciously at her*

*several orcs jump on the earth Golem, and it staggers around, swinging its arms which sends an orc flying into the air before it falls down*

*Akiro chuckles as it splatters across the ground, killing a comrade with it*

*Elandra advances slowly, the lion Alden circling the drow on the opposite side*

[Drow 2] Keep control of your animal, magician!

*gestures behind him without even looking and Alden is blasted backwards again, Elandra flushes and her eyes flicker, the lion disappears and Elandra straightens her shoulders*

[Drow 2] That's better.

[Elandra] I would have thought you wouldn't care who I fought with, I am below you anyway...

*the drow glares at her and launches himself at her, catching her arm slightly with his sword*

*Elandra dodges on the most part but hisses when her arm is cut, she spins and kicks the drow solidly in the chest*

*she follows that through with a swipe from the seemingly empty hand...the invisible blade pierces the Drow's magical and physical armour and stabs into his side before he pushes her away*

*he still stands straight, Elandra grins slightly and reholsters the unseen blade on her back; she then gets out both of her longswords and twirls them ingratiatingly*

*Lycan starts chanting words as his he battles the orcs*

*the chanting becomes louder and stronger*

*konrad, who was secretly sneaking up on the Drow engaged by Wolf, leaps at him*
