h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

*the howling of the wolves gets closer*

*a cloud slowly pulls over the moon, and slowly all is reduced to darkness*

*It gets chillier and clammier. The wolves sound very close by*

*the dead trees and bushes sway in a breeze, the air is dank and fettid*

*suddenly the howling of the wolves stops. A carriege can be heard approaching*

*slowly through the mists it can be seen as well, it is being pulled by six coal black horses and is racing allong at an encredable speed ("for the dead travel fast"). its very oldfasioned and is all black wiht silver handles, on either side is a lantern with a dim flickering flame. two red eyes can seen to be staring out through the heavy black swaying curtains.*

*The coachman, whose face cannot be seen, is whipping the horses mercilessly, each crack of the whip followed by frenzied neighing from the wild-eyed stygian steeds*

*the light glints off the silver lantrns. the horses are working so hard they're frothing.
as the coach aproaches a stiff wind picks up, cold and clamy. and carrying with it a feeling of dread, sadness, and the stench of fear*

*a loud explosion resounds through the Guildhall*
