*starts practicing more illusions*
*mist starts swriling through the room, and somewhere in the middle of it it begins to swirl, as if someones walking in it. vlain furrows her brow and light foot steps can be heared...*

*Isca steps out of the mist*
hello Vlain, thought I'd practice my illusions too

Arisztid Lugosi Posted Oct 15, 2004
good to see you isca!
shall we practice together?
i wonder if we can combine illusions and make something cool looking?

ok, how do you think would be best?
perhaps if one of us did the sounds and smells and the other the visual effects?
*a black room*
Arisztid Lugosi Posted Oct 15, 2004
oh! thats a very good idea!
what do we want to make?
and do you want to do the sounds and smells or the visual effects?

well if you start off with the visuals shall I add in the rest?
how ambitious are you feeling?
*a black room*
Arisztid Lugosi Posted Oct 15, 2004
ok sounds really good!
i'm feeling pretty ambitious. and i was thinking perhaps a castle wiht swirling fog, maybe a moist feel, and some earthy smells... what do you think?

sounds good to me
so earthy smells, perhaps footsteps from someone walking on the battlements, anything else?
*a black room*
Arisztid Lugosi Posted Oct 15, 2004
swooping of a bat, maybe the hooting of an owl. and the howling of a wolf?
how does that sound good to you?
is it possible to make illusions feel damp and oppressive? so that the fog feels real...

yes, just like you could make a wall seem rough or smooth or a drink taste of something, we can fool any of the senses
ok, ready for a spooky castle, ooh, how about a full moon?
*a black room*
Arisztid Lugosi Posted Oct 15, 2004
ok!!
*a look of concentration comes over vlains face. slowly a huge castle appears and towers over isca and vlain. at first its blurry but it soon becomes clearer. its very very old, and deserted looking with moss, lickens, and vines growing over parts of it. then the walls of the room dissapears and in the distance mountains can be seen. then as she slowly gets those worked out dead trees and baren bushes scatter the landscape.
slowly a thick fog spreads accross the scene obsceuring alot of it. the caslte still sticks out, and so the the outlines and tops of some trees and bushes. the mountains can still be seen louming up in the backround.*

< do bats squeak?, I think they do>
a thick musty smell fills the air, of dead vegetation
a flutter of wings and the squeaking of bats can be heard briefly, an owl hoots and in the distance thee baying of wolves can be heard
*A large desolate scene. Outside the castle, and its foggy*

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
