Oh what memories! Charles Hawtrey was always one of my favourites. I got a bit confused in later films when they kept introducing different comedians and pretty girls.

If I can find the correct DVD's then I am sure we could have a night of watching the old Carry On films...But for now I seems to have gotten myself into a right mess!!
Lady Admiral...is there a particular film you would like to watch? Does it need to be a comedy?....Just let me know and I will try to find it for you....oooh 'eck...this really is becoming a right ol' mess down here!!!

Of Course you can...would you prefer the Wide Screen? Or perhaps a personal viewer screen with headphones....which would you prefer?
The Cinema
Yuvi Posted Apr 14, 2004
Oooh
I'd like to see it on a big screen. The Yellow Submarine is groovy and best seen in an altered state.
*meditates

Wanders in, wonders if it's OK to supply one's own films?
Slots in "Q Winged Serpent",

*The door creaks open and Herr Hamster (Brain of a Traffic Warden, voice of a Foghorn and body of a hampster) creeps in and looks around, closely followed by the Evil Duck Brothers.........Quack Quack*
He quickly writes out a parking ticket for this thread.
THATS FOR THIS THREAD STAYING PARKED STATIONARY FOR TWO WEEKS he whispers softly, breaking windows for a three mile radius.
"Tow it boys" he sneers as he leaves by the back door.....

F F Churchton Posted Jun 4, 2004
Hey, I thought all ticket-writing wardens were consined to room 101, I'm sorry guys but I'm going to have to write you a ticket!!!

The Doc Posted Jun 4, 2004
*The Evil Duck Brothers come back in and back Lady Admiral into the corner where they Quack at her in an evil Doorman Bouncer type of way*
Quack Quack Quack Quack
*Herr Hamster comes back in as well*
Oh.
I see.
You must be the brains.
Well, Lady A - me and the boys here *points st the evil duck brothers* patrol dead threads and we tow them off for re-cycling if they are not used for weeks on end.
*Looks around at the dark dank Cinema thread*
I would say that this thread has gone to meet its maker, would'nt you?
*He edges closer*
And you want to give me a ticket? Clamp her boys, he sneers
*The Evil Duck brothers jump forward and stick a big yellow clamp round Lady A's legs*
There. Tow her boys.................she is an accessory after the fact in this story. Trying to interfere with a Hamster in pursuit of his legal job is a serious offence.

*The Mitchel brother's then barge and punch up the ducks, they then remove the clamp and throw it the Doctor, they then hold the doctor against the wall*
Do that again and I'll break your neck personally, do you understand, DO YOU UNDERSTAND!!!
*The Lady Admiral then kicks the Doctor in the lovespuds*
