It comes in a bottle. I seem to remember it's pretty chalky.
Or am I thinking of something else?
Anyway, point is, it's not as nice as pitchforks!

A Christmas Ball would be a great diea.
Let it run from, say, November 26 through January10th, or even later. I tell you, with the as messed up as it's been lately, we could all use a place to hide from the madness and pull ourselves together again (or, if you're so inclined, go to pieces with the aid of multiple libations )

That's a big ball ...
he he he
... sorry. Yes, I was just thinking starting nowish would be a good idea! Pre-ball - Ball - After-ball: two months or so should do it.

Let the pre-ball celebrations commence:
Woohoo! We're about to have a ball! Champagne! Champagne for everyone!
*Ends pre-ball excitementations*
Is it Gaviscon? Or Galviscon? Is that a song? Or is it Dalston?
The Bar
Trin Tragula Posted Nov 26, 2005
No, it is Dalston. Dalston antacid.
Gaviscon is that song - 'Gaviscon Lineman'?
Oooooo, the Gaviscon Lineman
Don't mind if I do *slurp* Oo - bubbles!

Acid? For ants?
You type of people disgust me, with your anti-racism. Look at the amazing things they can do! Right now there's a tribe of them carrying a big telly from Scotland to me, bless their little cotton socks. They gave evolution the chance to create Flants too! All they ever did wrongwas give you a little nip and off you go with your experiments, making acid in miniscule amounts to feed to each and every ant. You're tight too! You could just get a big bottle of ant acid and pour it over the anthill, but oh no, budget cuts and Jeremy in Accounts not allowing big sandwiches to be given out in team meetings and...
Oh, it's a medicine?
The Bar
Trin Tragula Posted Nov 26, 2005
Er ... no. No. That's a Glenn Campbell song too
*Quietly shuffles the antacid under the piano lid*
Curse those ants and their unreasonable demands for especially acidic drinks

How do you know so much about Campbell and Ants? You're part of that government conspiracy that's been on the news, aren't you?!
The Bar
Trin Tragula Posted Nov 26, 2005
Well, I could tell you. But then I'd have to have told you ...
Shhhhh. Look - it's military intellig-ants. All very hush hush. Campbell knows nothing and it's better that way.

Flants? They're with us. They always were. We turned them, back in Berlin in 65.

Lady Pennywhistle is usually here to do the honours, but she has to sleep sometimes. I'm only the pianist, but I can probably manage ...
