"We've all got problems."
Just promise not to do a spell to have your will done thereby turning us all into demon magets etc...

*runs off clutching spellbook dearly*
*a cloud of purple steam floats through from the kitchen*
*lisa appears, sobbing*
I can't cook.
I'm a Freak, dammit!
Archangel Tweetie (01/06/02...) Posted Apr 2, 2000
Hehehe! Very funny!
*thinks*
What the hell were you cooking that gives off purple smoke?
*suspiciously*
Are you a real witch?
I'm a Freak, dammit!

*giggle*
Nah, I'm Christian, not allowed to be. But I've still got a spellbook.
*suspiscious glare*
My spellbook, do you hear, MINE!
I'm a Freak, dammit!

Ok, ok.
You know you can be a Christian wiccan. The faiths are interchangeable!

*blinks at Tweetie* Maaaaybe in your Idaho, Tweets. As far as I know, Christianity doesn't really cozy up to spellcasting on the side...after all, wicca is more of an animist wossname, rather than a monotheistic wossname.
back to being a pedantic sod. Mmm, tasty.

Ho Ho.
This forum looks fun.
I'm not really a freak though, I'm completely average in every way.
Oh, apart from the extra arm.
And the green colour.
I'm a Freak, dammit!

Well, it depends, if you're a fundamentalist... oh hang on, I've got to do something:
"All higher lifeforms scythed away. Nothing left but dust and fundamentalists."
Anyway, if you're not completely dyed in the wool you can be both, you know, live your life by both Christian and Wiccan guidelines. I figure, as long as you don't hurt anyone and you're happy, you can do whatever you want
"An it harm none, do as ye will."
Right?

Who cares, for Pete's sake? It's only religion... ohh, I shouldn't have said that...
But still, who is going to benefit from this Christianity/Wiccan debate? eh? eh?
I'm a Freak, dammit!
Archangel Tweetie (01/06/02...) Posted Apr 3, 2000
Me!
I'm still wrestling with the whole concept.
Plus it's interesting and a chance to learn more about an oft-ignored faith.

yeah, so often ignored that I've never heard of it
Which is the whole point. I wanna talk about something where I know where I stand!

Yeah basically both Wiccan and Christian guidelines say 'do thee no harm to others, lest thou get screwed mightily', but then there's the sticky business of the Trinity and Jesus the Christ and whatnot.
But yeah, the two faith's basic life tenets are pretty interchangable. I still want to know what you do about the actual Jesus stuff tho.
That isn't fundamentalism, that's the basic underlying wossname about Christianity..
disclaimer: Despite the pedantism, whatever you worship is fine with me 'slong as it doesn't affect me directly

Athiests For Christ.
Yes, all go "whu"- it's a faith wherein you live your life by the guidelines set out by Christianity and ignore the metaphysics (fine by me). I've never really been in with the Heaven/Hell, God/Devil stuff, preferring to see it as symbolism for things inside of us. Ditto for my ever-increasing involvement in wicca!
