lol okay.
as complicated as the guy in the player of games!
hmmmm
I hate people that do that to books.
They should all be left on selves (hehehe discworld librarian)!

The librarian's the best character in the whole damned series, Nanny Ogg notwithstanding. What's that song she sings? Makes me corpse every time!
BTW my psychological age is about 23 and it has been for around two years now. I'm worried about what happens when I actually get there...

Think of the TV characters you most identify with. Then work out their average age. There you go.
Disclaimer: this method may not be 100% accurate. In fact, it's probably not even near 50%. Probably 5. But I might be reaching.

I Am Iron Man Posted Mar 28, 2000
Hello, htis is the second freak application thingumy that I have written since the first one went all odd and squiffy. Basically, in a nutshell what my lovely long esoteric post said was that my record collection features a generous mixture of ABBA, Marilyn Manson, the Beatles, Metallica, the Doors, Oasis, and the mighty Black Sabbath, I'm obssessed with Black Sabbath, metallica, cars, The Beatles, Monty Python, Robert Rankin books, Terry PRatchett books, eating peanut butter sandwiches, writing useless post-it notes (has there ever been a useful post-it note?) and collecting useless pieces of crap, among other things.
Like Guinness, for example, the best bevvy there is. No, don't get on your lager soap-box, Guinness, has body, texture, character, flavour... Oh no, I'm turning into Jilly Goolden.
I also write stories that only I understand, but some people understand some of the bits, but they don't laugh at them very often, despite the fact they're supposed to be comedies. Hohum. If you asked anyone whether I was a freak, one of two answers would emit from their gobs:
1. "How should I know, I don't know him. He looks a bit like one though. But anywa, what are you asking me for? I don't even know you! Go away!"
2. "Yep, that's him all right. Definitely a freak."
However, a third answer may also be forthcoming:
3. "What, him? No, don't know him. Never met him before. No, really! Yes, I do get the round in for complete strangers. Must stop actually, my overdrafts skyrocketed because of it." This is the answer you'll probably get from Kev, who you'd only know if you knew me, and even then only perhaps.
If Kev's reading this, then well done you've succeeded in finding a reference to yourself on a nice posh multinational website.
There we are, application over. If I fail to get in then I can only say "Mmmmm, that's a nice tomato poised delicately upon that ionic column."

I stopped reading them to do the whole RPR/ reading decent books because of English as most important course thing. But it's a holiday now! Back to the Discworld I go!

Cool! The best one I ever heard of was one comparing a character in the Lord of the Rings to one in the Discworld. That would've been great! But I was boring and did mine on Behind the Scenes at the Museum, a supposedly non-trivial text. Though thistle did hers on a supposedly "thin" text and did brilliantly. I think the SQA's actually made up of nutters you know...

All of it!!
I've finally got round to updating the Freaks page. Sorry it took so long guys. Anyone I still haven't added, tell me. Pleases.

You got the RPR (big book review/ plot analysis thing we do in 5th year) bit, right?
Behind the Scenes= v good book by Kate Atkinson which actually has nothing to with museums whatsoever. Everyone should read it, it's excellent.
thistle= fellow researcher and rl friend (link on my homepage.)
"thin" text= something not thought of as worthy by the SQA e.g. HHG (!)
SQA= Scottish Qualifications Authority (read load of nutters who force us to take insane exams that make no sense.)
Anything you still have a problem with is cos of your lack of sense making, not mine.
Key: Complain about this post
