Why NOT hate the Farrelly's?
Anyway, thanks, Haik. ...heehee, deviated prevert. Good ole Bat Guano!
Anyway, umm, in my own defence,
to quote Woody Allen, "Don't knock M(you know what), it's sex with someone I love!"
Anyway, I hate the Farrelly's as well, so I'll kill this one and get it over with.
There's Something About Mary.
Moving on!

This one shouldn't last very long, but here goes:
"Maybe you can tell us who first suggested the idea of reproduction without sex."
"Um, your wife?"
Oooh, zinger!

hehe, sorry.
Next one:
"Well, what kind of an asshole grows up in Seattle and doesn't even know how to swim?"
Yow! Local flavor!

One of my favs as a kid...
*In Robotic Computer Voice* WOULD YOU LIKE TO PLAY A GAME?
Okay, next...another one of my favs as a kid; still like it:
"Look, I know I must look weird to you but how do you think you look to me? Listen, I watched four episodes of "Lassie" before I figured out why the little hairy kid never spoke. I mean, he rolled over, sure, he did that fine but, I don't think he deserved a series for that."

Oh, yeah...it was "Wargames" by the way. I know you know I know, but so others can see it if they haven't. Good coming-of-age (shush Nuke)Matthew Broderick film.
And Jay, I'm just not into that brand of jokes...and when I am, I don't wanna actually SEE anything. When I was a projectionist in CA I had to monitor the print of S.A.M. because it would burn otherwise. So I had to see the "hairgel" joke 5 times a day for frickin' three weeks!

I know Haik.
That's not one of my favorite movies...but I have to admit, some parts of it are ust so silly, I can't help but laugh. Not exactly high-brow humor, there.
Oh well.

I also just get grumpy at films that tortured me as a projectionist...like... no, I won't even mention it.
On an unrelated note, I love Good 'ol Granpa Bill Shatner

Dang! You didn't even let me get to any of the cool quotes, like
"WE ARE AT DEFCON ONE!"
Or "Flush the bombers!"
or the one where Falken says he liked it when they nuked Las Vegas.

Alright then...when you post one that's bleeding obvious to me I'll let it ride for three quotes first okay?
And yes Jay...that one.
2)
"Elephantitis is when something gets bloated and ugly like your ASS."

No idea here... as usual.

oddly enough, me too.
Only elephantitis reference I can think of is from The Breakfast Club, but we just had that one.
Ha! Coming of age... I just got that, Haik. It's (WarGames) not really a coming of age movie, though, so much as it's a fending off the nuclear apocalypse you set in motion while trying to impress Ally Sheedy.
But hey! I've said it before; I'll say it again:
I'd blow up the world to impress Ally Sheedy.

Well, if nobody knows it I'll just say it 'cause it doesn't really have all that many great quotes. It was "Explorers" starring a young Ethan Hawke and River Phoenix. One of my favorite kid sci-fi movies along with: "YOU ARE THE NAVIGATOR"
I just saw Star Wars EpIII and I'm still shell-shocked so somebody else pick a new quote...maybe Tim, haven't heard one from you in a while.

Yup. Jeez Nuke, you really should have known that... ah well. Anyway, Haik, it's probably not a good idea that I go next, because even if I could think up a movie right now, over the next couple of weeks I'm gonna be gone for days at a time. Exam season, ya know.
(Now I'm getting a mental image of Elmer Fudd walking around with a shotgun, hunting exams... I'm weird.)
