And what ring would that be?

The one that's obviously not encompassing your every thought and desire at the moment.

*Points at Affy*
You all are going nuts or something! Talking about non-existent rings and such.
*Doesn't see his arm*
What the! What happened to my arm!
*Has another dizzy spell and collapses*

Well, shock a dust bunny and spray it with lemon, that's some odd ring he's got there.
Perhaps we should run a few tests on it....

Garius Lupus Posted Aug 23, 2004
I wonder if we could slip it out of his pocket while he's out....

*A soft, green glow emanates from GDZ's body at mention of the ring being tested then disappears*

Okay, that's a bit odd....Once green if tested at all, one ring to change him. One thing not seen by all, while the ring has claimed him.

I think we might have to find the gobold. Perhaps he'll know how to counteract the ring.

Afgncaap5 Posted Aug 24, 2004
Until then, I say that we....test the ring....to see if anything happens.
*Hopes to see the ring glow green again. Meanwhile, begins studying the Jindak spell in his spellbook*

Wow, now he looks . I wonder if he can control that at will.
I wonder if he will regain conciousness.

Maybe there's a corolation to the way something is said and the responsive glow. I mean, the first time I just mentioned testing the ring. The second time, I said that we should....test the ring....all dramatically and carefully and stuff. So, if I were to shout TEST THE RING do you think it'd have a different effect?
And before my mind registers what I saw when I said those three things, I'll drop my spellbook and sword. Now, the Jindak spell can detect magic, and it can detect how strong a magic is. My spellbook is filled with dozens of Zorkian spells, so it's a pretty powerful magic. My sword glows blue when danger is near, but beyond that it's not the strongest of magical weapons (it's indestructable, but that's because of the way the elves made it, not through any inherent, checkable magic).
Now then, when I cast Jindak, the two objects will glow, and theoretically the ring may as well. They'll all be blue glows, as the glow comes from the Jindak spell, and not the item itself. So, just to see....JINDAK!
*Sword glows dimly, spell book glows brightly, and the ring will be determined by GDZ*

*Glow emanates from GDZ, first Green, then Blue, and then Neon Pink when affy shouts "test the ring". The glow does not dissipate however. There is no noticable effect from the Jindak spell aside from GDZ's body spasming.*

Well, I'm sure I can fix it.
