We have a town in Missouri named Peculiar. I think that is my all-time favorite silly name for a town.

There is a village about 5 miles from me called Little Dickweed
I kid you not, it's signposted and everything

Ohio has a town named Knockemstiff.

Finland is the Scandinavian version of Wales, it uses extremly long place names. For example they call Lapland, Lapi Lánii Laplandi Lans!!!
