A Conversation for The Bus
Hyp's '07 Spring Vacation - Intro

I've decided to use The Circle as a place to plan my next vacation to England. It's an appropriate spot I believe since the old commune has been neglected low these many months. My own fault, I know.
So, the preliminary plans are to visit around the London Spring Meet. This time I want to stay in the south. I really spread myself too thin last time. It's too early to set up a definite schedule since we don't know what date will be chosen for the meet. But I can do some general planning.
The same sorts of places are on my want to do list as last time. Gardens, cathedrals, historic sites. And there are some places in London that I missed last time that I want to include this trip.
I'll start conversations for London, gardens, cathedrals, and whatever else seems suitable as I go along.
WooHoo! I love trip planning.

Nice place you've found, Hyp. There's some lovely old areas around on h2g2.

Why thank you, Bagpuss. I always thought the old Circle commune had potential. But we started it at a really bad time and I have never been able to spend the time promoting it that I should have done.

The first thing is to get the date for the spring meet set so I can schedule my time off, buy plane tickets, etc.
And I absolutely must see the baby.

Best make sure the meet is at least a week after 11th March then! Otherwise you might just get to meet the bump

Right! The Spring London Meet will be held on April 28th, which is h2g2's 8th birthday. I think that's a great date for it.
The plans for my vacation are beginning to take shape. At least I have a definite time table now. I will fly from Missouri to London on April 22nd to arrive on the 23rd. Teuchter will collect me at Gatwick. I'll be flying back home on May 9th. This will give me time to work in quite a few of the things on my "things to do someday" list.
My plane ticket has been purchased and I've made some room reservations. Things are definitely moving forward.
And, the Spud will be here by then. Absolutely have to see the baby.

So just in case I'm not up to coming to the meet with baby in tow, at least one afternoon will have to be a trip over to Berkshire, or somewhere between there and Teuchter Towers for afternoon tea and meet-the-baby, or a coffee morning. And as I won't be at work it won't matter which day of the week it is
